LG M2762D v.s Samsung p2770hd > Verdict LG won!!!!
6 November 2011
Summary: I bought two of these (refurbished) after reading several other reviews about it. My primary purpose was to use them as computer monitors for doing CAD work. The picture quality is as good as HD can be. The speakers/sound on one of them does not work, the second one is fine.
Summary: I didn't read all of the other reviews, but I get the sense that people are complaining about text clarity when using as monitor. It all depends on your output device, and the cable you use. My experience: Sony VAIO VGN Laptop (1920x1080): HDMI-HDMI - Unclear text, bad color.
Summary: The only reasons I didn't give it a 5 is because it constantly displays a message saying there is no signal after my mac shuts down the screen signal and I haven't had it long enough to say whether it will last. I love the picture quality and size of the monitor for my use.
Summary: The LG M2762D completely lived up to my expectations. I am happy with this product. This HDTV is used in a bedroom and while the cabinet and all looks good so does the picture and it has decent quality sound as well. I had bought another brand and then sent it back due to the poor sound quality.
Summary: Bought this T.V. for my workout room to watch t.v. and movies, and workout videos. I wanted a lcd tv so I could turn it toward the cardio equipment or towards the open space for workout videos. This t.v. has a very nice picture. I don't expect good sound from any t.v., especially small ones.
Summary: Smaller TV purchase so as to fit in armoire makes me wonder if HD was worth the cost and effort. The non HD picture is great on this set. Under HD I pay a fee for the signal which sometimes locks do to a problem with the HD service, not the TV.
Summary: It's been hinted around in the previous reviews, but just wanted to state plainly that you need to use the DVI connector, not the HDMI connector, to connect this unit to a PC. I originally used the HDMI connector and was quite disappointed -- muddy text, and it was impossible to adjust the gamma...
