Summary: I`ll be honest that the screen isnt as crisp clear, its quite blocky when you look up closer at it. Further away though, it doesnt show or make a noticeable difference. Sound is ok, a little dull/flat not enough bass. However, other than these minor faults, if like me, you are getting it for your bedroom then its perfect at this price. It has enough connectors at the back for use with a pc as well as normal scart connector for tv, but no HDMI connector.
Summary: The good points: excellent picture quality, great contrast, lots of leads included, excellent screen resolution for price, really has good viewing angle, looks smart good build quality. Not so good It has good viewing angle but for a few pence LG could have given it a tilting stand and I would be happier, why put analogue tunner on when digital freeview is so cheap, the tv tunner set up is a pain and I gave up and plugged a freeview box in via scart-excellent picture.
Summary: i bought a 20inch t.v with monitor and must say i am pleased from start to finish.i ordered the t.v on the 28/12/08 at 9.30pm and got it for 30/10/08 at 1pm so i was not waiting in all day for delivery. i was pleased when i saw what i got it was easy to set up and tune in. i got this t.v for bedroom so the size, sound, and picture are all perfect for me i understand t.v is also for games to be played on and can be used for computer till i understand more about that.
Summary: This Tv is excellent got it today and am amazed the inputs are great at this second i have my xbox360 connected to the composite, ps3 via the dvi, dual monitoring with my pc through vga, hooked up to my ps2 through av and attached to a dvd player through scart and still room for a video camera through the s video =D Tv is fine in my opinion i don,t see nothing wrong with the speakers obviously for hd movies you will want a set of speakers picture is superb setting...
Summary: Just to let you know before you spend a lot of money on this, they don't warn you that LG do not make their televisions with earphone output!! So if you are buying this TV to use with headphones like i did, be warned!! You are about to waste a whole lot of money!!!
Summary: When my old flatscreen monitor broke, out of necessity i browsed the market for a suitable replacement. I was mainly concerned with price, not wanting to spend too much on a product which i thought would be very similar between brands . After deciding that i wanted a monitor which i could also watch tv on this model matched my specifications best. I am still pleased with my purchase and ill explain why. Price.
Pros: Large screen, good quality, easy to use
Cons: Speakers are poor quality, no freeview box included.
Summary: We purchased this to use as a 2nd TV having compared it to 12 others in store. Picture quality was all important and it hasn't let us down. The image is clear and sharp (using the SCART input), the onscreen graphics are clear (so if used as a PC monitor it should be ok), and there is little smearing whan watching fast action TV sequences. The screen resolution at 1680 x 1050 is ok, but you don't want anything less at this size.
Summary: i was searching for a 19" monitor to replace my old 17" ,but it had to have hd ready ,(mainly for xbox 360),i found this little beauty at a local high street shop, used has a tv the picture is exellent through my virgin media box,but what really packs a punch is the HD on xbox 360 the quality is amazing,i have a 26" samsung and the picture on the LG is just as good, total bargain when looking for an HD ready tv monitor .
Summary: I opted for the 20 inch as the 19 inch was in short supply. For around £200 this screen punches well above its weight. As commented previously the sound is a little intensive on the treble when used as a TV , a bit better when used as a monitor. Other than this (and its quite acceptable really) it is very hard to fault this monitor which seems to bridge the gap between Monitor and TV admirably well.
