Summary: I am not a gamer so image was not a concern, what I needed was a monitor that was compatible with older Sparc 20 work stations. This monitor has no problems with Windows, Mac, or Sparc computers.
Summary: I am a mechanical engineer from Greece. Using this monitor in 1280x1024x32bit for 2 months for 10 hours a day. (text, video, games, cad). I have worked in CRTs monitors (17" & 19") Eizo and Philips. I have less experience in LCDs; only a 17" Samsung.
Summary: A good monitor, with a clear, bright and sharp image. The default settings from the factory are of no use, and it took some time to achieved setting that were usable. This in itself is not really a problem, as whatever setting it came with from the factory I guess most users would adjust them to...
Summary: Delighted with it and would recommend. Very minor point is that the on/off button is right in the middle of a row of 5 buttons. So when making adjustments, it's very easy to switch the monitor off by accident!
Summary: I was forced to buy a flat screen monitor when my superb CRT packed up....no flat lcd/tft is as goos as CRT let's get that straight, but this is a fair contender at budget price to do it ok......have to say very pleased with this product
