Summary: monitor is great. i have not found anything wrong thus far. i am rather suspicious of defects due to the horrible packaging and shipping. the box that arrived with the monitor inside looked as if it was kicked down three flights of stairs before it was thrown onto a truck and shipped here.
Pros: GOOD IPS? THE false advertising was a bad move but i see the RE-released the monitor back into the usa, with the main selling point as ''Class Slim IPS LED Monitor'' the slim bezel is no longer the catch for the buyers for obvious reasons. now all we have to do is compare it to AOC 27ich IPS in p...
Summary: I am taking one star away as there is no VESA mount, which is somewhat disappointing. Otherwise taking this star away does seem a little mean, for what is otherwise a good monitor. I am only able to detect minor non-bothersome backlight bleed, which some reviewers have mentioned on this model.
Summary: Looks good, doesn't shake like other screens if you type pretty hard on a desk that isn't sturdy. Half of the screen experiences burn in 12 months later, makes it really annoying if you're playing games or need colour accuracy.. Good thing there's a 24 month warranty from LG.
Summary: Very good value for an IPS screen, but the stand is very weak and wobbles at the slightest touch. My main monitor is an old HP LP2065 (IPS) which has a very solid professional stand & better blacks compared to LG screen, for me I think the Dell U2312HM or U2412M would have been worth the extra cost.
Summary: I am no expert so don't ask me about colour bleeds, deep blacks etc I chose it for a couple of reasons: .... A friend has a slightly older model which has been reliable, has a good picture and he felt was good value for money ....
Summary: The main thing that made me buy this was the thin bezel but it has a 5 mm bezel not really show in the pictures . other than that this is a great monitor for gaming or just general use has 2 hdmi ports and 1 VGA . Thinness of the monitor is 1.4cm .
