Summary: Good monitor and cheap (I bought refurbished), but with that comes the pains. I bought 3 of these and one monitor was DOA, I will be shipping it back tonight. I have no problems with the other two monitors, they look nice, no dead pixels. There is a bit of a gab between screen and bezel. Also bezel is thin enough that multiple monitors is not so awkward.
Summary: +Excellent colors* +Nice viewing angle (an advantage to the technology of IPS +Matte (a big plus for me since my desk is against a window, plus a lamp when it's not daylight +1080p (standard on most monitors today) +Able to turn off indicator LED when not in use (another positive for me since I'm autistic+OCD so I notice things like that) -Glossy stand (not a big deal if you clean often) -Tilt only -Colors aren't as rich as they could be on the default setting.
Summary: Except for the darkest of scenes, this monitor has excellent performance. Colors are vibrant, consistent, and *very* accurate for a monitor of this price point. I am an amateur photographer and I got this monitor primarily to photoshop with, and this is great for that. IPS technology is awesome. When I first got this monitor, black level was set to "high" which resulted in an inordinate amount of back light bleed.
Realize this is low end IPS panel, not a pro panel

Summary: I was a little skeptical at the sale price that this monitor wouldn't hold up to my expectations but I was pleasantly surprised upon using it for a few days. I want to hit on a few positives that I noticed right away. First, the menu system allows quite a few tweaks such as color temp and Gamma settings. There are also a few presets you can choose or a complete ability to customize the settings as well. I am using the DVI connection and text is very crisp and clear.
Pros: Crisp Text/Vivid Colors/Menu allows many tweaks to picture
Cons: Monitor wobbles quite a bit/Purple fringing off angle
Summary: I purchased this monitor from the Best Buy located around the 3200 block of South Elston in Chicago (near interstate I90/95). I got a good deal as it was on sale for $200. This monitor's color, black and white, and saturation levels were excellent out of the box, but I noticed when blacks are on a purple glare coming from the bottom corners of the monitor (I tried adjusting, but realized it's something to do with the IPS technology).
Summary: Overall, it's a good monitor, with sharp text and vivid image. It does have leakage as most ips monitors do, but it won't worry you unless you need to work on a black background very often. But I must say the stand is the poorest I've ever seen. If your desk is solid, that's not a problem, though. Otherwise, a solution is to fix the panel or buy another stand to replace this poor one. Anyway, since I find the solution to the poor stand, I'll keep it.
Summary: I bought the monitor to hook up to my PS3, I bought the wire but the screen requires you to plug in a wire into something with a graphic card. Luckily, my laptop worked. Then to use it on my PS3, it would not work no matter what. Returned it. If the person games on PC, this is wonderful! For system-wise, not the kind you need.
