Summary: This monitor is decent. It has the ability to pivot the monitor so that it be comes portrait and you can use the monitor like a full size document. The clarity is nice. Very clean. Bright and it's adjustable up and down. It offers that standard modes from movie to RGB and custom. Great for adjusting what you want and how you want to watch it. Movie, games, or however you would like to change. It has a port for HDMI.
Summary: I had a couple of bad experiences with LG in my live, from auto-radios to DVD's, everything carrying this logo didn't seems to convince me. Last week, I had to choose an LCD screen for my latest PC project and, after many thought put on this decision, I have decided to go for an LG IPS231P and forget my previous bad experiences with this brand. Big mistake.
Summary: Got this monitor today to replace my old 17" EIZO L565 that I'd had for 9yrs as it was dying. I got this monitor for two reasons: 1) It was cheap and 2) it had good reviews saying it had good colours and viewing angles. Although the viewing angles are ok, unfortunately when you look up and down the screen you will notice a brightness shift possibly due to anti-glare coating on screen!
