Good but far from the best

BFerrell13, Amazon
30 November 2013
  • Summary: Not a bad computer monitor if you aren't looking for anything special. It is a LCD-lit which raises its score but honestly you could probably find better with Asus or Sony, or even a different LG model. The resolution is full 1080 which is great but it lacks in interface. This is literally the first 1080p monitor of any type I came across that lacked any HDMI input.

No HD port

  • Summary: No HD port. I guess this is my fault for not looking to see if it had one but I just assumed any quality monitor made recently would have one.

Good bargain, Weak base

VMT, Amazon
13 September 2013
  • Summary: Nice monitor, value for money. Good resolution for basic work. Easy on eyes and can be bright as well. If you do lot of profesional photo editing, you may need better monitor. Very light and thats where problem starts, the base is weak, if your table is not strong and heavy and tend to shake, the monitor is going to pronouce the shake even more. Wall mount can be an option.

Extraordinary value for the price

cory, Amazon
3 September 2013
  • Summary: Beautiful resolution, large screen size, energy efficient. I love it. Honestly, the base is weak, so if you tend to shake the table while you're working I could see that being an issue. But then again, if you're shaking the table you me need to dial it down a notch.

Satisfactory for a low end monitor

Percy Von Baron "PvonB", Amazon
11 April 2013
  • Summary: This particular LG Electronics N/A EB2442T-BN 24-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor was intended to replace an older 17 inch Sony monitor, and with LED illumination, I expected a more brilliant and sharper display, particularly for text applications. The lack of clarity and sharpness is the LG's main deficiency and could not be fixed with the user controls located inconveniently under the screen frame. Price fits value: YES. Expectations met: NO.

5 Stars if you plan to VESA mount

Amazon Customer "Coaster", Amazon
18 March 2013
  • Summary: I bought a pair of these because I was sick of using dual screens with mismatched monitors. I initially set them on their included bases to test them for damage or dead pixels before I went through the trouble of installing in them on my dual monitor mount. No dead pixels, but the included bases leave something to be desired.

awesome monitor

Nakmuay, Amazon
15 March 2013
  • Summary: Great color, contrast, everything. It's LG, what do you expect but the best? Only con is a tiny one - the blinking red light when the monitor is on & your computer is off. Simply turn the monitor off though & no more blinking light.

Great monitor for the price

Scott L, Amazon
19 December 2012
  • Summary: Great monitor for the price. Packaging and set up was a breeze. Adjusting the brightness is a little weird as it is a different lighting method.
