Summary: This is an extreme disappointment. I bought this monitor because it advertised that it had TruMotion 120 Hz. No where does it say that TruMotion is actually just some video buffering software, and it is actually just spruced up 60Hz.
Summary: I contacted LG about the issue and they were more than happy to exchange it out for a new one. Although I expect to have occasional problems such as this, especially with electronics, it is still quite annoying. I think companies need to get back to focusing on quality over quantity.
Pros: From the moment I plugged it in and tweaked some settings, it had excellent display and I was very happy in general. Resolution was perfect and it worked as well as I expected.
Cons: 6 months later, it quit working correctly. When I unplugged it from everything except the power source, there was a hazy black background with a cloudy white haze along the edges of the screen and a solid vertical white line from top to bottom of the screen. A little more than I had originally al...
Summary: Monitor looks great. Fantastic for design and video. Brushed-metal appearance is classy, 2 HDMI ports is rad. Great for my MacBook Pro. Got it for $90 less than MicroCenter and Prime is the best, as always. Highly recommended.
Summary: I bought a 27 Inch Asus which is Awesome but the viewing angles seemed to annoy me a little. The Asus had great finish, had all the ports you can imagine and a built in camera. But I kept looking at this monitor given it's interesting viewing angles and finally bought it because I use MAC OSX and...
Pros: Great display Good colors Lightweight for size Best TN I have seen Good viewing angles for a TN
Cons: Control buttons a little cheap Finish isn't as nice as other monitors (but I don't care about that) No speakers (again, don't care) No Display Port (doesn't matter at 1920 x 1080)
Summary: I was skeptical that this monitor would be enough to compliment my dream gaming rig. It's perfect, could not be happier.
Pros: Really big, light, thin, emits no heat, matte screen, colors are vibrant, no dead pixels, no setting changes were necessary, and I'm running Heaven DX11 2.5 benchmark with a 590 gtx at 88 fps -- I think I need a tissue. Beautiful gaming monitor.
Summary: This is actually for my Core i7 box that I am building this weekend, but I hooked it up on my dual core box for the moment. I have had 4 flat panels, and only the very first one had 1 wonky pixel. The other 3 have been perfect. I have been super lucky in this regard.
Pros: DVI, VGA, and 2 x HDMI. Remote control included w/battery. No dead or wonky pixels on mine. NOT glossy. Easy to unpack and put together.
Cons: Brightness is at maximum out of the box. I had to crank it way below 50 percent, and I may ave to reduce further.
Summary: I got this monitor at a reasonable deal and it's notably nicer then several of the other 27" that were nearby. Although not height adjustable it is very adjustable otherwise. The stand is very solid, much more so then the previous LG offerings of this size. Also, the degree of visibility is nice.
Summary: dont makasumptions until you know the facts
Pros: We recently announced details of a forthcoming 27” model from LG, their E2770V. At the time the information from LG suggested this was an IPS panel, but recent developments have led to a lot of confusion as to what technology is actually being used, with the possibility emerging that this is in f...
