Summary: Could not be more pleased. I connected this to a mini Mac and 4 n 1 hp printer HP and set up is state of the art! Like being in the movie theater. I talked with young lady at amazon in electronic dept (800 #) and found her competency , patience and courtesy to be exceptional. What and asset to amazon.com. Monitor came with cable to connect with mini Mac so ordering additional cabe not necessary.
Summary: This is an extreme disappointment. I bought this monitor because it advertised that it had TruMotion 120 Hz. No where does it say that TruMotion is actually just some video buffering software, and it is actually just spruced up 60Hz. No where on the box, nowhere in the manual, nowhere does it explain this. I had to go deep into the service section of the LG website before I finally found explanation of what TruMotion was. TruMotion 120Hz is just marketing LIES!
Summary: Update*: So i ended up buying it. I ordered a 720p samsung tv to game on and it was sooooo bad. I've played on 720 on my plasma and the game looks fine. The samsung was sent back immediately. Then searched even further than amazon reviews into the techie forums. I could still not find an exact response time for the monitor. What i did find is the reason i bought it. I found that what ever type of panel it is (super-tn) it's better looking than any tn panel to date.
Summary: Monitor looks great. Fantastic for design and video. Brushed-metal appearance is classy, 2 HDMI ports is rad. Great for my MacBook Pro. Got it for $90 less than MicroCenter and Prime is the best, as always. Highly recommended.
Summary: with a little research its apparent that this monitor is not 120 hertz. in fact, if you're a technophile like me you absolutely hate motion blur in any type of LCD. this thing literally gave me headaches. i tried my blu ray player and xbox 360. thru motion does not simulate 120 hertz, it only cuts down on input lag from other devices which should help on its lackluster response time. it is a true 60 hertz monitor and i hope that amazon fixes this listing soon.
Summary: Reviews here are a little hard on this monitor because of some confusion on the information on it. This is not a 3D-ready monitor in that it does not do a true 120hz display. It will not work with Nvidia 3DVision; it uses TruMotion to help reduce ghosting for things like gaming, while it's recommended to turn it off elsewhere. The monitor does come with a remote and a battery, they are packaged separately and are easy to put together.
can not adjust the volume without the remote control, remote control does not come with battery

Summary: idiots! You can not adjust the sound volume on the monitor without the remote control. Those idiots did not include a battery for the remote control. Sun Micro Systems attempted to do remote control only monitors back in 1994 and it failed bad. These idiots are back to relearning the same lesson again.
Amazing LED-LCD monitor, but not true 120Hz. Not for use with Nvidia 3D Vision.

Summary: I bought this monitor with the Nvidia 3D Vision because I wanted to use it for my 3D games. I read that the 3D Vision requires a 120Hz monitor, so just by reading the description I thought this would meet those requirements. After a couple of hours messing with the settings on both the 3D Vision and the monitor I had no luck getting the 3D working, or even getting the refresh rate to go higher than 60Hz.
Summary: I got this monitor at a reasonable deal and it's notably nicer then several of the other 27" that were nearby. Although not height adjustable it is very adjustable otherwise. The stand is very solid, much more so then the previous LG offerings of this size. Also, the degree of visibility is nice. I got up and am at roughly a 175 angle and the colors and page is still visible - this is also true when I turn the monitor around and watch shows on it from bed.
