Summary: I use this monitor on a daily basis as a 2nd monitor for my MacBook Pro. The color reproduction on it is mediocre and I honestly purchased it more based on price than performance. A better option is the Samsung class of LED monitors (in regards to color accuracy out of the box).
Summary: Setup for this monitor was a little challenging. The default settings for Windows 7 wouldn't allow the resolution to be changed adequately. However, after tinkering with the drivers a bit, I was finally able to see a full-screen view when I changed the resolution.
Summary: Only bought this because it was on sale. I really liked the looks of it and the HDMI audio pass-through but I found the stereo channels to be reversed so that kinda takes away from the positives. If I were to choose a monitor now it would probably be an Acer.
Pros: Nice size, price was alright when I got it on sale, looks good.
Cons: Colors took a lot of adjustment to be acceptable. Way too bright. HDMI audio output is stereo reversed and adds a loud hiss. Doesn't come with a DVI cable or HDMI cable.
Its complicated.. I dunno, but im trying to make this work.

Summary: I am still trying to find a good calibration for this mointor.. Best I have found is this.. I think it seems about right but was wondering if anybody has tried Spyder3express on this?
Pros: Got a Great deal on this one for 50$ off. Great Resolution with heavy calibration thin and sleek. Its great if your not a graphics editor who will have to work on the monitor calibration for days.
Cons: Backlight seems to be bleeding though on the right side up to 2-3 inches from the side.. it does this no where else. It also seems to be really hot in that area. I am pondering if I should RMA it if this is a flaw or not. The whole monitor settings are wrong out of the box I should have read the ...
Summary: Returned and bought one Planar 27" one sale from NewEgg of course. Out of the box, the Planar color is wonderful and a heck of lot better in size and text.
Pros: Bright, light, think and looks good. I actually liked the stand and didn't find it too flimsy.
Cons: As someone mentioned the pixels are grouped strangely. So what? That makes the text seem funky up close. Moving on, this monitor out of the box is way off color. I spent the most amount of time ever on any monitor adjusting color, brightness and they (I bought two) just never evened out.
Summary: Good for the price. I wish I knew how to configure it better. It's probably operator error on my part, but I know it's running at the right 60Hz refresh and I've got the latest drivers for my 5850 GPU. Games look great, it's just work stuff that appears odd for whatever reason.
Pros: Looks great on almost everything I do! Less glow than my traditional LCD at work.
Cons: Text sometimes looks a little funky. I probably just need to play with the settings more. Gradients cause this to flicker. The worst is the background image of Visual Studio 2010, it just flickers horribly and I don't understand why. Also the Windows 7 bootup I think is supposed to be a smooth gr...
Pros: Well, it's very thin and looks well designed when not turned on.
Cons: This monitor is way too bright and when everything is turned down the contrast is still way too high. Yellows look almost neon lime green. I need something to edit photos as well as game on, but this isnt it. I don't want to do this, but I might just have to return it.
