Summary: I'm looking at the monitor as I write this, bright, clear, and the color in photographs really pops. The display is not the typical matte non reflective type and it's not the super shiny reflective type. It's somewhere in the middle. Just what I was looking for.
Summary: Sleek and clean beautiful styling. Bought to use as a TV in a small sitting area, perfect for this application. Connected to a receiver (monitor does not have internal speakers) and to cable for TV, it was just the solution needed. Excellent value too.
Was looking for a Portrait View but ended up with this

Summary: This is a LANDSCAPE view monitor (wider than tall) not a PORTRAIT view monitor (taller than wide) but... you should consider this: I develop my own training manuals and I originally wanted a monitor that would have a PORTRAIT aspect ratio rather than LANDSCAPE so that I could display more of a page in word. I also use applications like Excel and MS Project where I like to see more rows than columns.
Summary: I bought this from Amazon for $170 something. Its a great price for this beautiful monitor. It really goes with my Macbook pro design-wise. After calibration, i was able to get the exact same colors and image quality as my mac. The monitor is super thin and very light weight. The seller was Circuit City. They shipped it within couple of hours after the order was placed and I received it way earlier than the initial estimated time shown on amazon.
Summary: While I was skeptical at how cheaply this gorgeous monitor was priced at, I decided to take the plunge and get it anyway. Boy am I glad I did! I've had it for a little over a week now, and I'm completely in love! Right when you take it out of the box it's beauty jumps out at you and it's thinner than I had imagined. It's half as thin as a DVD case!! The picture quality is phenomenal as well. Beautiful display and overall excellent functionality.
Summary: Yes, this monitor is VERY thin. Yes, it looks very cool on your desktop. How is the picture? Excellent. How does it compare to the Apple Cinema display or a high end IPS monitor? Well, if those displays are a 10, this one is about an 8. I'd say that's pretty good - considering this beauty of a monitor costs a third or even a fifth of the price of those high-end units. I'm using it with a late-2011 Macbook Air 11" and it looks and works perfectly.
Summary: I needed to replace an older 22" monitor that was getting old and dimming. Did some research and came across this on a Gold Box deal. I know LG makes great stuff, so I thought I would give it a try. It is very lightweight and thin and has a great picture. The only issue I have is that this 22" monitor, since it is a wider screen than my other, was actually smaller in size.
