Summary: I had purchased a Samsung S22A350H monitor. The Samsung monitor was excellent: picture, response time, setup, quality. However, anything over the 22" in the SA350 series was out of my price range. So I returned it and ordered the HP x2301. While I am waiting for that my wife picked up the LG E2260V. The picture is not bad, but the clarity and colors on the Samsung where much better. My biggest problem with the LG is the stand.
Summary: I just got this monitor up and running today and the picture quality and resolution are all great. It's a very good looking monitor. However, the mere act of typing or moving my mouse moves my desk a tiny bit which is enough for the monitor to wobbly very noticeably. I'm not going to return it but I'm trying to figure out a way to strengthen the arm to stop it from being so flimsy...without taking away from the sleek look of the monitor.
Pros: Very thin profile, the monitor looks very sleek and takes up very little space on the desk. The menu for the monitor is easy to browse through as well. The blue LED power indicator can be turned off.
Cons: Flimsy stand, this thing will jiggle and rock easily, but it won't tip over at least. The colors are either too bright or too dull.
Summary: The screen is light weight, thin and has very good clarity and is worth the money. It's only fault is that if you don't line your eyes up with it's dead centre, you end up viewing a distortion in colour and/or light.
