Summary: So at first I did not realize( or they didn't write in description) that is was not an HDMI. I contact them and they exchange it, and let me upgrade to one that was. Then the new monitor I got, is now and has been displaying pixels that go crazy and are dying at times. I contacted them, and they keep telling me the will email me the warranty but never do. I have called them 3 times about this and sent 2 emails.
Summary: I am using this specific LG monitor as an alternative to my MacBook lcd laptop screen. (I have only used it for one day, but please, read on) Unfortunately, the screen on my MacBook went bad after 5 years, so I am running my Mac in "clamshell" mode. This allows me to continue to use the MacBook connected to the LG monitor through a display adapter with the laptop closed.
Summary: I shop for the biggest bang for the buck. I also use 2 monitors for each desktop computer. 2 monitors make the user happy and more productive. These monitors, coupled with a $50-$65 video card, speed up the computer and display a great bright crisp sharp image.
