Summary: Picture quality and 3D effect are superb. The glasses are inexpensive, the same as you get at many theaters. This 23" is a good size for 2 people to watch, and the IPS LCD has a wide viewing angle. If I'd known how much I'd enjoy it, I'd have probably gotten its bigger brother instead. But it's an excellent 2D monitor as well, so a good buy for the price. I bet a good 3D game would be fun, too...
Summary: This monitor has a really good picture and colors seem better than my Samsung 23 inch monitor. The 3D is flawless. Found that the best 3D viewing is from 3 feet or more any closer then you have to move your head around till you hit the right spot and you get the black horizontal lines. But sitting back 3 feet it's perfect, you can go from left to right, up or down and it's clear as a bell. Also sitting back also gets rid of the black horizontal lines.
Summary: The 3D image is bright and flicker free. The passive 3D glasses are much lighter than active glasses. The picture looks better to me than an active 3D display. You get ghosting if you sit too high or two low, but since this is a computer monitor, all you have to do is tilt it to suit your seat height. Even though this is a small monitor it displays full HD resolution so you don't loose any clarity or detail.
Summary: As a 2D monitor, the colors are nice from any angle. Blacks are also good. Like using this monitor for watching videos and entertainment. 3D is good but requires you to be looking from a specific angle. For the price though, it's more than acceptable. Monitor is thin and light. Happy with the product!
Summary: Have always like LG's passive 3D, so purchased this model to upgrade my PC to 3D. Monitor works exceptionally well for the price. Found that with passive 3D you only need a 60hz. 120 or 240hz is great, but is it worth the price? Have even seen issues with 480hz HDTVs. Extemely pleased with the monitor and not sure spending the extra money makes the 3D any better. By the way, the 2D to 3D conversion is fantastic.
Summary: I admit it - I'm a 3D junky. I thought I needed active shutter, but it's time to shut my mouth on that. mmffff... <G> Pros: IPS. Not the expensive kind, so not perfect. Pretty darn close, though. Angle doesn't matter to speak of, at least with bright pictures. The white LED and LG's screen combination give superb color, very little if any blur (not a gamer, so...), and more than enough brightness. A very special combination, IMNSHO. 2D picture is fabulous.
Summary: This monitor is really good and I will give the grade 9/10. The stand is rather limited regarding the height adjustment, otherwise I would give 10/10 ! In the 2D mode I get the required quality for usual tasks: programming, word processing, etc...The color ajustments are almost useless. In the past I have used the D2342P model and there were still a few drawbacks: possible crosstalks, correct viewing position difficult to achieve, etc..
Summary: I'm a big fan of LG tvs, and I wasn't disappointed this time either. Great colors and contrast, loving it. Menu Buttons are a bit hard to operate, but I'm sure I'll get used to them. As a warning, it can't be used with nVidia 3d technology with the eyeglasses provided, as that technology only uses active eyeglasses. Either turn on the 2D->3D conversion (which works pretty well), or buy active eyeglasses.
