Beautiful Picture

Ryan G., Newegg
17 March 2014
  • Pros: This monitor came in perfect condition and had zero dead pixels. The picture is amazing and gets extremely bright. Being IPS, the viewing angle is also great. Aesthetics are nice and it's a great substiture for dual monitors.
  • Cons: Third party support for the 21:9 aspect ratio isn't quite all there yet, so I would recommend checking up on whatever it is that you plan on doing or playing to make sure it supports 21:9 to really get the most out of this monitor.

Ultrawide Setup

Dane K., Newegg
4 March 2014
  • Summary: There is no vertical height adjustment component so you may have to find an alternative means to raising your display if your ergonomics require it (there is however a tilt component which is nice)
  • Pros: If you have limited desk space (I live in a single bedroom corner apt) I frankly believe you cannot beat a single Ultrawide setup in any flavor. The screen real estate feels fantastic and I don't personally feel the slightly shorter viewing area is enough to knock the display.
  • Cons: Feels a little flimsy due to the size. I handled this with utmost care when installing the pedestal

What more could you ask for in a monitor?

Xerxes, LG Electronics Ratings and Reviews
24 February 2014
  • Summary: A great monitor with amazing features. *The USB 3.0 plugs give me an additional 6 USB 3.0 plugs to utilize my multiple drives. *The PIP (picture in picture) is amazing but be aware you MUST have one of the devices utilize the Display Port in order for it to work. *Straight forward configuration. It's fairly intuitive to configure the monitor settings. *Hardware color calibration is a life saver! Editing photos and videos is perfect with this monitor! *No dead pixels!

it's a great monitor for movie

B. NG "NYC", Amazon
3 January 2014
  • Summary: A little shorter that what I used to, but it's a lot wider. LG makes a great monitor, the buttons are touch sensitive. I wish they'll make a bigger one. If you are on a mac, use the right cable dual link dvi-i or display port. Kudos to LG. I am fan now. Please make a 75-85 inch tv. 65 is too small.

Loving it

ViktorG, Adorama
11 December 2013
  • Excerpt: Let me start by saying that I'm a graphic designer and I've got this monitor on BF sale - it's awesome. I have enough room for all my Photoshop and Illustrator toolbars, I can even open photoshop and Illustrator side by side : ) Image and build quality is amazing and I'm loving cinema thin borders too - you almost don't see them at all. Menu is a little less intuitive, but not a deal breaker since you just set it up once and not something you touch every day.
  • Pros: Great picture quality, Large Viewing Area, Reliable Performance
  • Cons: Lacks Adjustability

User Review

Graham_G, NCIX.com
11 December 2013
  • Summary: Great product! My first IPS screen and it looks fantastic. For all the games that run the resolution, everything looks and plays awesome. No lag or tearing. Screen I got has no dead pixels. Would recommend to any gamer or multitasker. Software is easy to install and the screen splitting program is quick to use. Got it on the super sale for $350 and you can't beat that price!
  • Pros: great looking, great for games, easy to setup
  • Cons: some games don't fully support the resolution

Pretty amazing

Tom S., Newegg
4 December 2013
  • Pros: So I picked this bad boy up for 399 during the holiday sale and I really feel like it was a steal. I upgraded from a 24 inch monitor and I am blown away by the quality of this. I've been playing Battlefield 4 and it's so beautiful on this monitor. I run a gtx 580 and it compliments the game that much more. After tweeking some settings (taking eco friendly setting off) it is flawless. The wide-widescreen takes some getting use to but you won't regret getting this. I wo...
  • Cons: It didn't come with the USB connection for the true color finder. That's okay, I will probably get one along the way but it's not really important to me at the moment. Not enough to dock an egg. Also, when the monitor is on - there is a red light at the bottom right. It can be distracting if you think about it but most of the time I am zoned into my game anyway and it's not an issue.
