Summary: I was a lucky one to get the latest rev 0.2 version I think only available in south korea now..cause that is where it was shipped from south korea. IT the model name was said to be 29EA93V, but on the back on my monitor it said 29EA93-P, rev 02. so I am glad I got the latest revision and firmware.
Summary: The first monitor I was sent was defective, it had horrible yellowy backlight bleed in the bottom left corner of the screen. I sent it back for a replacement which went very smoothly thanks to Amazon customer service (I actually got the second monitor before the first was picked up!).
Summary: I've had this monitor for a few weeks now and I'm very happy with its performance. The screen looks great, even for an IPS screen; rivalling that of an iMac even. And the aspect ratio certainly makes a lot of tasks from editing video to playing Skyrim much more enjoyable.
Summary: It's a lovely monitor but the height can not be adjusted so if your PC desk (Or office chair) is quite low, your line of sight is going to be low too. Luckily for me, my PC desk is higher than my chair so my line is sight is just slightly lower than the iMac I had previously.
Summary: Seriously a great monitor, the compatibility with some components can be an issue for example an xbox does not support its resolution so you may notice some slight stretching, but still provides the gaming experience.
Summary: Okay lets do my negatives first. Its 29 inch with a 21:9 ratio. So the length is 6 inches longer than my 24 inch monitor BUT 15mm Less in height. So when watching a video in 16:9 makes the picture smaller than it is on my 24 inch monitor having 3 to 4 inch borders either side.
