Summary: I wonder if there is a way to fix it. If they are dead pixels, I believe I bought a defected product.
Pros: It was something new, this 21:9 ratio. But it is better than any 1920x1080 monitors with no doubt. I got this monitor in April and have been using it till now. I used is rarely as my second monitor along with my laptop. Great for multitasking. You can pull up few more windows while you are doing something on your primary.
Cons: Like I said, it is a great monitor and I have no regret of buying it except I found two dead or stuck pixels recently. I thought it was stuck pixel at first because I didn't notice them for months of usage. I found it while i was watching a youtube video and when the screen was very dark, two pixels in the slight left and right of the center of the screen appeared greenish. It was very visible. I've been using the screen mostly for working on word document and excel f...
Cons: Cannot complete color calibration My setup is Mac -> mini display port to display port adapter -> LG monitor color is way off, and truecolor find does not work, saying cannot find monitor or sth. Wish some one would be able to help me calibrate it without addtional color calibration hardware, before I decide to return the device.
good monitor but not the best in gaming, black friday sale.

Summary: I am very happy with my purchase, cause honestly it's LG, when you buy an LG monitor you will fall in love with that panel. Plus you can still play battlefield 4 it's just a bit annoying specially in sniping. This could be the best media monitor out there so if you're a media person do not hesitate to buy it. But if I am only a hardcore gamer that wants the best, I wouldn't go for this cause you will be disappointed.
Pros: Great picture, amazing for movies and all other media, makes you wanna sit infront of it for a long time. I like split but I have windows 8.1 so it already splits screen for me. Only good thing about lg split is that you can mhl you're phone and like split screen. But really not that handy cause you can move files from you're phone and play them on computer. I like the software associated with the monitor. It is a smart monitor one of a kind. Gives me more options whe...
Cons: I noticed that when I play battlefield 4, the colors shift when I turn the mouse. So if I move left, colors shift to the left. I am really not an expert but I believe it's happening because of the bad response time, again I am not sure, it could be the game but I never incountered this using my old asus monitor. The buttons are really hard to see and use in dark. So you gotta keep you're eyes on them to use them. They all feel the same and they don't give you feed bac...
Pros: The monitor looks great and it has plenty of inputs on the back. I was happy with it for a couple of days before realizing the one glaring problem with it.
Cons: This monitor seems to have an issue with bleeding on the corners. When there is a black background in a dark room you can clearly see light bleeding from all four corners. This in my opinion is unacceptable. I returned my first one, thinking that the bleeding was caused by water damage, but the replacement had the same exact issue. I returned the second one as well.
Summary: After much anticipation, i finally received the monitor yesterday. I was very excited about immediately plugging it in and to my dissapointment i see a message on the monitor saying that it would not support the max resolution of 2560 x 1080 but instead only allow 1600 x 900. This was due to the limitation of the video card on my laptop. Unfortunately, none of my 3 laptops has a better video card and this monitor is useless to me.
Summary: the version they sent me is 29EA93-P model, (not sure what firmware) The screen looks great, and games look fabulous. But maybe I will send this back, because I have 6 dead pixels. Also for no apparent reason the screen was refusing to turn on, even though all the cables were properly set. I tried on another plug same result. waited 2 hours tried again then it worked. so not sure what to make of it yet.
Summary: It is powered by a DC converter like a laptop so I wonder how long it will live. I almost sent it back when I struggled with the vertical lines constantly appearing for almost an hour every time I connect the monitor direct to my High Spec computer using VTX3D AMD Radeon R9 290 X Edition 4GB . I still use it a second monitor as I believe it has some technical problems with it. Sometimes I have to reboot my computer to make it respond.
Summary: The Good Excellent picture and response USB 3.0 hub Off board power supply Nice looking The Bad Terrible touch sensitive controls Annoying menu structure Unable to customise menus Does not support DP1.2 daisy chaining.
Summary: I am pretty sure that monitor has given me the hardest time to date of any monitor. Firstly I was unable to get it running at 2560 x 1080 on the DVI-D port, so had to switch to hdmi (luckily I have one on my PC, although my old monitor was on the DVI-D). Trying to switch input e.g. from DVI-D to HDMI, involves navigating through on-screen menus using the tiny, virtually hidden, touch sensitive buttons located under the lower edge of the display - not that easy a task I...
