Summary: These monitors rock (I bought 2), but for some reason when moving from one place to a new place (this is probably user error so...) one monitor stop working completely... I think there might be something wrong with the buttons at the bottom of the screen. That said the one that still works is great.
Excerpt: The Good: Pretty clear image. Nice size for desktop use.
Thin and lightweight. Has standard screwholes on the back for bracket mounting. Matt screen surface is pretty good at not reflecting. Working without a hitch for 7 months now. Color seems good enough for me.
Pros: Wide viewing angle, happy with the display quality, VESA mounting - I use an adjustable display stand on my desk to put the monitor at eye level.
Cons: I was going to use the HDMI input from my video card but there were large black borders on all sides at 1920 x 1080. The manual says, If you use HDMI PC, it can cause compatibility problem. So I am using the D-SUB analog input. I wish it had DVI input also.
Summary: It is a 200$ monitor, I bought two, did not expect much. My GPU is over kill for these. I am using them for basic computer programs and for programming PLCs. If you are into games and those kind of things I would not suggest this monitor.
Summary: The offer a different style power supply depending on what side of the country u live in. lg did send me the other laptop style power supply. You should just offer it from the beginning.
Pros: This is an awesome monitor I have 3 for a triple monitor gaming setup. I don't know were all these reviews saying its to dark, are coming from. I have owned many different ips panels and this one by far is 1 of the best. I own a LAN center and trust me Ive been thru a lot of different monitrs.
Cons: only con which is y I gave it 4 stars is the power brick.
Summary: Those who complain about the short length of the a/c cord, should just by a $5 adapter from an online vendor. I swapped my old 24" monitor for this one without having to change either the hdmi cable of the power cord + the new 1' adapter cord.
Pros: very happy with the large viewing area, which allows me to see two full-size docs side by side; 'increases my productivity; great value for the price (under $200) and have recommended this product to friend/colleague
Cons: no built in speakers...but that's not a big deal; The monitor stand is a bit weak to support the large display panel.
Summary: I'm got this for 180 to use as a media player in a basement rec-room; add a pair of speakers and it makes a nice upgrade from the 23" monitor it replaces.
Pros: A nice sized panel to use with a media player in a not-overly-bright room. Has a headphone / audio out jack, which is good because it does not have speakers. Slim design fits nicely on a wall mount in the corner.
Cons: No speakers, as I mentioned. Only has VGA and HDMI, no DVI connection. The brightness spec (200 cd) is less than most competitors. Wall-wart power block with a rather short cord.
Summary: I guess I didn't think about how adjustable it was, but for my situation it is fine. it works where I have it on my desk and I enjoy having a large screen. I chose larger screen over higher quality display and i'm happy.
Pros: The large, wide screen that really is nice to look at. Easy to assemble and set up No issues with being too dark as others have said. I didn't even make any adjustments, brightness was up all the way when I turned it on first time. Power button is easy to flip on and off easily without being in a...
Cons: VGA cable was a little shorter than expected No DVI, part of why it's so cheap but HDMI and VGA only. Stupid. Screws for base would not screw in all the way, not a deal breaker for me as it's still secure.
Summary: Specs: AMD FX-8350 Gigabyte ATX GA970A MB 16 gb GSkill Ripjaw Sapphire R9 280X And this this is running flawlessly with my 42" LG TV paired with it. Dragon Age Inquisition looks spectacular on it
Pros: Been looking for an upgrade to my 21.5" no hd monitor for awhile and finally bit on the $20 off sale for this guy. This is thing is exactly what I wanted, quite large(probably because I came from a 21.5) and great brightness(at 50% brightness and still break enough). Decided to finally get into 1...
Cons: The only con I've noticed is some slight fizzing coming from this monitor when the brightness is up all the way but I'm guessing that is from the electronics warming up(hopefully)
