Cons: It was dark even on high brightness and was terribly pixelated. Just awefule. I tried to get used to it, but it was next to my other monitor (ASUS) and I couldn't help but see the contract. I'm returning it ASAP, sadly I have to buy a shipping box to ship it back, boo!
Summary: If you are ordering this model from this Manufacture, make sure you inspect everything, dont throw out the box until you know you have all the parts needed to put this monitor together.
Pros: It's a nice Monitor, the picture is clear, and easy to set up
Cons: The reason why i gave it the lowest rating was because the monitor was missing screws, The screws are needed to securely attached the monitor to the base of the neck to keep in place, so I had to wait 2 weeks to get the missing screws that I needed. I had to contact New egg as well as the Manufac...
Pros: Colors are good, low latency, size is enormous!
Cons: When connected to my PC over DSUB or laptop over HDMI, the screen will randomly flash, go dark, and appear to reset. When the picture comes back, there's usually a glitched-out on-screen display. I'll try to get this on camera.
Summary: Thanks to this wonderful experience, I will never be purchasing another LG product again.
Pros: I bought two monitors and got them on sale, so I guess that's a plus.
Cons: I hooked up both monitors with a HDMI to MiniDisplayPort cable, and one looks fine, but the other one has a terrible pixelated picture. I've gone online to look for solutions, but could not find one. I have requested an RMA for both monitors and will be sending them both back for a refund.
Cons: For an IPS monitor I am shocked it is so dark. It comes out of the box with maxed brightness but it doesnt help. I have it sitting next to a BenQ 27" non-IPS and the BenQ is 100x better of a monitor.
Summary: Do a google search, I should have done this before I bought the monitor. It was an impulse buy because of the thin bezel and I needed a new monitor. If could have given this 0 eggs I would have, but it looks like 1 is the min.
Pros: None, This panel was falsely advertised on the box and on LG's website.
Cons: I did not get this through the Egg, but from a local store, immediately took it back. The monitor you get looks like the one in the picture, till you turn it on, the bezels are pretty thick. What you see is the secondary screen over the actual LCD panel.
