Summary: This thing is nothing short of infuriating! I bought it about a year ago locally and it has been a pain ever since. It turns itself off at the drop of a hat... entering "power saving mode". I have 5 monitors attached to this machine, and this is the primary one. If I log in, and Windows dims the monitors upon login... it goes to sleep. If UAC challenges an install... it goes to sleep. I am about to throw it away and buy something else.
Summary: As the others have said, the stand is cheap and will shear off. Yesterday (luckily while my wife was there) it sheared off and fell onto my desk. She caught it so the monitor is ok. Had she not been there, the monitor would have been ruined as well. However, I found a cheap (quality) solution. Go to Michael's or Aaron Brothers and get a metal 11 X 16 picture frame stand for $10 and the monitor will sit perfectly on the stand. Very stable and made of metal!
Summary: A few Pros: Great viewing angles! Colors come pre-calibrated. Very lightweight. Now the Cons: Very flimsy, I felt it was about to fall apart every time I touched it. Its plastics look cheap. Cannot get the blacks to satisfactory levels. The very thin bezel in the product pics is (deliberately?) misleading, it's about 8mm thick. The base is too short (and also flimsy). You have to keep looking down to use the monitor. OSD buttons are touch-sensitive.
