Summary: This is a good looking monitor with a terrible design flaw. Many people won't see it but some rocket scientist at LG thought it would be a good idea to turn off the monitor's backlight if the scene being viewed is too dark.
Summary: Pros: -Price (got mine for $145+free shipping) -Great viewing angles -Matte screen -Tactile menu buttons -Easy stand setup -Very good colors (after some tweaking) -No ghosting -No defective pixels When I initially set this up, I wasn't all that impressed after hearing how great IPS monitors are...
Summary: Not bad, HOWEVER, the power adapter is of the cord and brick type where the "brick" plugs directly into the outlet. The cord & brick is not very robust so much care should be observed in routing and transport.
Summary: Bought one of these expecting something better than avg quality. Its worse. You can see the light source from "one" place, and it discontinues from one end to the other. This is the second LG monitor I've seen does that light source thing. Poor QA LG.
Summary: nice monitor for the money, but uneven lighting, under office lighting is ok. Slightly darker environment you will notice the difference. maybe returning this for a BENQ. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-23-14 10:47 AM
Pros: nice budget 24in. good colour, tilt, nice light output by default. nice in general.
Cons: uneven lighting. will return this., not 2ms as advertised, its only 5ms native.
Summary: After looking at different monitors to purchase for a week or so, I stumbled upon this one. I did some research and found almost no reviews, probably because the monitor was released only a couple of months ago. After reviewing the specs, I decided to take the plunge and buy it.
