Summary: I bought this monitor to use as the viewing screen for my cable modem and it works great. Using the HDMI input from the cable box and the headphone jack for a set of speakers, this monitor views all the TV channels in an excellent manner. The 5 million to 1 contrast ratio, 178 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles, 5 ms response time, 1920 x 1080 resolution, HDMI input and audio output jack make it ideal for my application.
Summary: At the time of purchase was cheapest IPS monitor available. I bought two to partner with a Dell U2412M, a monitor that costs almost twice as much. To my surprise these LG monitors seem sharper than the Dell! There is a bit of light bleed on a dark image but it's a non-problem in real use. Many have reported problems with the cheap stand but I used a multi monitor stand instead, bolted to the desk. All in all no regrets!
Summary: Bought it some months ago, and it has all that I want. Having it in a two-monitor scenario with my pc and the panel quality is just awesome. The best 24-inch monitor that you can get for that price.
Summary: This is a great screen. Large. Deep, rich colours. Fast response. Incredibly lightweight. And really pretty cheap as well - I got it for £144 and it arrived in under 24 hours. There are some other reviews saying the stand is flimsy. They might have changed the design but it seems stable to me.
Summary: Having just been disappointed with a Samsung S24B150BL at 20 quid cheaper, i was concerned about this monitor due to the similar price bracket. I was totally wrong as this monitor is in a totally different league. Great, clear, and importantly evenly lit and coloured display. It has a very wide viewing angle which was a welcome improvement over the Samsung. Both vertical and horizontal viewing angles are great.
