Summary: I'm a graphic designer and must depend upon a high quality monitor for accurate color, excellent sharpness, even illumination, large enough to work on magazine layouts with menus on both sides, and plenty of adjustments to fine tune color, etc. I'd been using an amazing Samsung 24" LCD for the past four years, but it began to develop a light colored horizontal line across the top of the display, about an inch from the top...and was becoming worse.
Summary: I got this monitor from bestbuy, used it for 2 days, decided to return it. The anti-glare coating is way too thick. The screen looks dirty. White looks grey, black looks washed out, and yes I am aware that there are two levels of black and have tried both. For me it's a total disappointment. If you are like me who hates heavy matte coating, avoid this monitor.
Summary: This is a great monitor. Got it on sale at a big box store for $189. A few issues you should take note of: * Turn the "Super Energy Saving" off. If you don't, the display kindof changes color or brightness all the time and it is super distracting. I mean like really bad, and I was going to return the darn thing. But after figuring out it was power saving, no prob. You can accomplish your own power saving by turning down the brightness.
Summary: So I have had quite a few monitors now from the BenQ gaming monitor to Asus, and this monitor is just so much better. Its 5ms but it seems faster than my 1ms Asus monitor. The colors are so vibrant and the blacks stay black without any loss of detail. In very colorful scenes of movies or games is when it shines as it allows you to see all the different variations of a color in a bright display.
Summary: I recently bought 3 of the monitors. They are awesome. The bezel is "thin" but the picture/marketing is a little misleading. The actual picture to the edge of the monitor is approximately 8mm or so. There is a small black bar around the image, and then the outer bezel around that. The picture options are very minimal. You will have to use your graphics card image options for any decent effect.

Summary: I was looking for a second screen to compliment the Samsung 23" I currently have that I bought a few years ago and I wasn't liking the current Samsung prices in that size range. I'm a big fan of LG, so I took a chance on this model. It's bright, vibrant, thin, light and well priced. You can't go wrong with this screen. The bezel is thin as well.
Summary: I bought two of these monitors for my win 8 powered system. For years I've only used Asus monitors. But when I saw these LGs on sale at my local BB store I decided to try em out. The picture on these is pretty good. After about 6 months, no bleed yet. LED displays usually produce almost zero heat. Which is a huge plus for me. For what I use mine for right now, I didn't need to dive into the settings and calibrate the picture(s).
Pros: Picture quality mostly, but just about everything is awesome...
