Summary: Bought this to go with a computer that Im building, and have only tested it out on my laptop to see how well it works. My hope is that once I plug it into a decent video card that border won't be an issue.
Pros: Great monitor for the price, IPS, matte finish, thin bezel.
Cons: I can't seem to make the screen fit the whole display in 1080, it leaves a border along every side. This could be because of the fact that I'm trying to run it off the HDMI port on my laptop, which has sub-par video. but in 1600x900 it fits. Not sure if anyone else has this problem.
Summary: It was pretty dam good monitor to me. Colors were awesome, screen was bright, bezel was semi-thin, but pictures that were being advertised were misleading. I took off 1 star for the misleading bezel size I took off another star because this monitor died on me after 1 year and 5 months.
Summary: They sold it touting that it had no bevel and was like a cinema screen but that was a lie because the bevel was right under the screen covering and was still very much visible.
Pros: Cool aesthetic look to the case.
Cons: Stopped working just over a year after purchase. Anytime the screen changes like when opening a new window or starting a game the screen goes black. At first I had to do a combination of unplugging the power then HDMI then plugging power back in, literally counting to 5, then plugging HDMI back i...
Works great, but good luck getting help from LG when the flimsy stand breaks, and it WILL break
DJ Apoc, Amazon

Summary: I bought this on sale from Best Buy, not on Amazon, but I'm so upset with the treatment from LG that I have to warn people. The screen is decent, definitely worthwhile in the price range. That's where the fun ends. The stand on this thing is made from the most flimsy plastic you will ever encounter.
Summary: The LG website states this monitor has only a 1,000 contrast ratio, and Amazon says it is about 10 million. Not sure who to believe. I understand there are not firm standards for firms reporting the contrast ratio, but it is important to me.
Summary: Bezel not as thin as advertised. RMA was painless and I received 2 perfect monitors in exchange for the bad ones. 3 are glorious in surround :D I was hesitant with 5ms response time since I have always had 2ms or less displays.
Pros: Marvelous picture, brightness, clarity, viewing angle, response time, etc. Thin and Light! Paid $175 each shipped. Calibration certificate included.
Cons: Received 2 with numerous rows of dead pixels. Too bright out of the box...you may need eye drops lol Touch sensitive buttons kind of a PITA at first, but you get used to not having physical buttons to press.
Summary: Best bang for the buck, using it for a month now and i have nothing to complain about. Glad i saved some money by not going for a higher priced IPS.
Pros: low response time(5ms!). no ghosting, no bleed, sharp colors, good contrast, really beautiful monitor. I couldn't find any monitor that comes close to the quality of this one in this price range, the next one that could compete was a Dell with 25-40 EUR (33 - 53 USD) higher price tag. Bought it a...
Cons: As everyone else is pointing out, the stand is stupid, BUT this is not a problem whatsoever. Contrary to what most people say, the monitor doesn't bounce or dance around after a minor touch of the desk. Considering thee price tag, cant really say this is a con, its to be expected
Summary: I bought 2 of these. One for myself and one for my 76 year old father. He just loves it. The blacks are crisp and easy for him to read, colors show on the screen as they are printed by his inkjet printer, and it gives him plenty of room on his desk to work.
Pros: The monitor comes pre-calbriated for optimum Adobe sRGB color gamut. It is definitely nice to have 250 nits as every grey shade I have been able to make has been faithfully represented. The pixel pitch is small enough that you don't end up with eye strain after several hours of viewing. In my vie...
Cons: The monitor would be perfect as an entry level for graphics professionals if LG had managed to address the following weaknesses. At least in my opinion. 1) The stand is bouncy. Don't count on it as your method of support, or you will go batty! Invest in a good VESA desk mount. I have tried to add...
