Two Stars

Adam C, Amazon

  • Summary: Amazing when they work but I had two of these panels burn out unusually fast for a monitor.

The screen itself is fine. The flimsy plastic base is garbage

Shayne Barr, Amazon
19 December 2015
  • Summary: The screen itself is fine. The flimsy plastic base is garbage. One night it just snapped and the screen went crashing down onto the desk. Nobody was even in the room.

Screen burned

Jason, Amazon
25 October 2015
  • Summary: I had an issue of owning this product for over 2 years. The screen had been "Screen burned" after the 1st year. Tried to contact LG but it was very difficult to get an LG associate to talk to.

  • Summary: There is an actual bezel to this monitor, but that is okay because the monitor is nice and very sharp. Very professional looking, well done LG.

User Review

ADP P., Newegg
6 February 2015
  • Summary: Bought this to go with a computer that Im building, and have only tested it out on my laptop to see how well it works. My hope is that once I plug it into a decent video card that border won't be an issue.
  • Pros: Great monitor for the price, IPS, matte finish, thin bezel.
  • Cons: I can't seem to make the screen fit the whole display in 1080, it leaves a border along every side. This could be because of the fact that I'm trying to run it off the HDMI port on my laptop, which has sub-par video. but in 1600x900 it fits. Not sure if anyone else has this problem.

It was pretty dam good monitor to me

Jason, Amazon
24 August 2014
  • Summary: It was pretty dam good monitor to me. Colors were awesome, screen was bright, bezel was semi-thin, but pictures that were being advertised were misleading. I took off 1 star for the misleading bezel size I took off another star because this monitor died on me after 1 year and 5 months.

Awesome until it wasnt

Vincent N., Newegg
27 July 2014
  • Summary: They sold it touting that it had no bevel and was like a cinema screen but that was a lie because the bevel was right under the screen covering and was still very much visible.
  • Pros: Cool aesthetic look to the case.
  • Cons: Stopped working just over a year after purchase. Anytime the screen changes like when opening a new window or starting a game the screen goes black. At first I had to do a combination of unplugging the power then HDMI then plugging power back in, literally counting to 5, then plugging HDMI back i...

Great monitor, awful stand

Aaron B. Flynn, Amazon
21 April 2014
  • Summary: The monitor itself was great. The awful quality of the stand that it comes with really drags down the overall rating of the product. I noticed my monitor leaning slightly to the left and after some investigation, the plastic was starting to wear down to the point of breaking.

Terrible, avoid it.

A. Pavelescu, Amazon
21 April 2014
  • Summary: This thing is nothing short of infuriating! I bought it about a year ago locally and it has been a pain ever since. It turns itself off at the drop of a hat... entering "power saving mode". I have 5 monitors attached to this machine, and this is the primary one.

Great Monitor

K. Latimer, Amazon
21 April 2014
  • Summary: The only complaint is the controls are on the bottom, which is easy to use after you do it a couple of times. But if you stick your hand under the monitor to reach for something behind it, the monitor will turn off. Occasionally annoying.
