Easy upgrade to a 2nd monitor

vincent, Amazon
30 December 2014
  • Summary: This 14" portable monitor is a great deal for people who want a 2nd monitor on-the-go with their laptop or tablet devices. My Dell Latitude E5420 can power it with a single USB port, but some laptops may require two USB ports to power it.

Great USB Monitor - Product not working wasn't hardware fault

Carl Barnwell Jr., Amazon
14 December 2013
  • Summary: Before I start my review, let me address the other reviews that said the monitor stopped working around october/november 2013. They did not say but that was right around the time that Windows 8.1 was released.

Second Screen to travel

L. Hill, Amazon
1 October 2013
  • Summary: I have become hooked on dual screens. At work, my laptop hooks to a 23" LED - which works great. I tend to have multiple windows open at the same time for research and writing. Recently I was away for about a week, and needed to accomplish the same tasks as I would at my office desk..

Great 2nd Monitor for On-the-Go!!!

GoldChain, Amazon
30 August 2013
  • Summary: My primary use for this monitor is on-the-go use. I work in coffee shops, various meeting rooms, and travel a bit. At my work desk, I have a 24" monitor as my 2nd monitor to my laptop, so I got spoiled by having 2 screens and felt crippled with not at the office.

Kenneth Cooke, Amazon
9 August 2013
  • Summary: Easy to set up and powers off of one USB port. Desktop switches back to normal mode (WIN8) without any difficulty if I don't use the additional screen with my system.

  • Summary: I purchased this for my wife and she couldn't be more pleased. She is an accountant and likes to use two screens at the same time. Works well!

Excellent for Travel and Expanding Screen Space

Gabrielle Venturi, Amazon
27 June 2013
  • Summary: I was hesitant to buy this because I wasn't sure if 14" was going to be sufficient since I had been using an 18" external monitor before. I plan to use this screen every day instead of just when I am traveling.

Excellent Choice for a Portable Monitor

iDSquared, Amazon
21 June 2013
  • Summary: I got this for work, and I am very pleased with my decision. I followed a fellow reviewer's advice after looking at a couple cheaper options, and this monitor is excellent. It is a bit more expensive than the other options, but the design is sleek and it fits perfectly in my small briefcase.

Two even better than one

B. Ellis, Amazon
19 January 2013
  • Summary: Had one of these for a few months. I liked it so much that I purchased a second, and now have one each side of my laptop screen. Works fine on both my Windows laptop and on my MacBook Pro. Makes for a great, really portable, set up for coding/design, or just impressing people in coffee shops :)

User Review

Dave R., Newegg
6 November 2012
  • Summary: I would easily recommend this to anyone, and should something happen to this one, i would buy another.
  • Pros: Best compliment for a 13" laptop on the road. Low power usage even though powered off usb. Seamless video playback, the cover is a nice touch.
  • Cons: I wish the stand was extendable, but other then that, no complaints.
