Summary: This 14" portable monitor is a great deal for people who want a 2nd monitor on-the-go with their laptop or tablet devices. My Dell Latitude E5420 can power it with a single USB port, but some laptops may require two USB ports to power it.
Great USB Monitor - Product not working wasn't hardware fault

Summary: Before I start my review, let me address the other reviews that said the monitor stopped working around october/november 2013. They did not say but that was right around the time that Windows 8.1 was released.
Summary: I have become hooked on dual screens. At work, my laptop hooks to a 23" LED - which works great. I tend to have multiple windows open at the same time for research and writing. Recently I was away for about a week, and needed to accomplish the same tasks as I would at my office desk..
Summary: My primary use for this monitor is on-the-go use. I work in coffee shops, various meeting rooms, and travel a bit. At my work desk, I have a 24" monitor as my 2nd monitor to my laptop, so I got spoiled by having 2 screens and felt crippled with not at the office.
Summary: I was hesitant to buy this because I wasn't sure if 14" was going to be sufficient since I had been using an 18" external monitor before. I plan to use this screen every day instead of just when I am traveling.
Summary: I got this for work, and I am very pleased with my decision. I followed a fellow reviewer's advice after looking at a couple cheaper options, and this monitor is excellent. It is a bit more expensive than the other options, but the design is sleek and it fits perfectly in my small briefcase.
Summary: Had one of these for a few months. I liked it so much that I purchased a second, and now have one each side of my laptop screen. Works fine on both my Windows laptop and on my MacBook Pro. Makes for a great, really portable, set up for coding/design, or just impressing people in coffee shops :)
