Summary: This is a nice basic monitor that will suit your needs if all you need is a monitor without the bells and whistles. It has a nice clear picture and is easy to set up and use. It also has a DVI port for digital high quality video.
Be prepared to replace parts to keep this nice looking monitor functional.

Summary: I believe this monitor uses a better panel type than TN, so it looks great. When it is working. The power supply / inverter boards on these monitors were assembled with notoriously cheap and failure-prone electrolytic capacitors that often cause problems.
Summary: It's good, had to adjust my Graphics Adaptor Driver settings to make it look optimal...I mean what can I say, I like that it gives more space, it's much lighter than a CRT monitor, who wouldn't want an IBM Think Vision Monitor L170 17 Inch LCD monitor!
Summary: I purchased two of these monitors to use in a dual monitor configuration. This allows me to look at data in one program at full size and perform data entry into a totally different program on the other monitor also in full size.
Summary: The monitor has a dark blotch the size of a thumbprint and a large drip stain of who knows what. Otherwise it is in excellent working order. I had inquired about the condition and was told there would be a few scratches but was in excellent condition. The drip came off but the blotch is still there.
Summary: I originally bought this monitor because it was very cheap starting price, the description sounded to be just what I wanted. I had a 15" monster that took up most of my desk, it was old but still worked so there was some debate there as to if I should or should not buy it. But I'm sure glad I did.
Summary: This flat panel display has an array of screen controls easily accessable through the screen panels buttons on the face of the display. The picture quality is nice and large and crisp. Just as good or even better than the the Dell brand 17" that I previously used.
