Summary: It's big, and it was reasonably priced, but it has been a bear to get it to work on a dual monitor system under Windows 7. If you want to use it as a second monitor, I think you have to use the DP port. That is the only way we have been able to get it to work. There is no HDMI connection, which is weird for a monitor of this size.
Summary: This monitor if fantastic, the colors are crisp and accurate, the resolution is fantastic. My only complaint is a dead pixel in center of the left half of the screen. HP's replacement requires 3 pixels so I am stuck with a green spot. I have purchased any number of significantly cheaper monitors and never had this problem before, I expect a monitor that is priced over $1000 to have all the pixels working.
Summary: Pros: Even coloration Very bright (actually too bright... see below) SIPS panel Low price compared with other wide gamut 30" monitors Seemed to color balance very well with spyder 3 system Cons Mine hummed (loud enough to hear in a quiet room) at anything other than full brightness, and full brightness was WAY too bright.
