  • Summary: It's been a year and it still works great. The video card I got for it died but the monitor is awesome. And now my 1 year warranty is up and my monitor has died. Total black screen.

Not for Gaming stick with 1920x1080 @ 120hz

Justin L., Newegg
16 August 2011
  • Summary: Bottom line for gaming get a 120hz monitor the 2560x1600 res is not all its cracked up to be. I am going back to my 23.5 inch 1920x1080 @ 120hz monitor it looks much better and performs much better in BFBC2 specifically.
  • Pros: 2560x1600 resolution which looks nice for desktop apps. Its nice to have the screen rel-estate to work on for a second monitor. Very nice and sturdy stand and nice swivel options to move the monitor around, nice design and it looks sexy. FYI 2560x1600 @ 60hz = Bandwidth:8.75 Gbit (w/overhead) or ...
  • Cons: 60hz refresh limits you to 60 fps in games. At 2560x1600 textures in BFBC2 appear to me stretched out meaning you can see less detail then you can at 1920x1080 @ 120hz IMO. I did not like how it looked in BFC2 at the 2560x1600 res. The 60hz option is definitely noticeable for me since I came form...

hums

Sebastian, Amazon
20 June 2011
  • Summary: Well, the screen is great, but in case you live in a silent environment, be aware that the screen hums/buzzes if the brightness is reduced below 100%. The humming is not very loud, but much louder than my Laptop and annoying. If listening to music, it cannot be heard.

Nicht Zeitgemäß

Dilettant, Amazon
23 July 2015

Asmo7, Amazon

  • Summary: Nachdem ich zwei wirklich tolle DELL U3011 zurückgeschickt habe, weil beide in ruhiger Umgebung hörbar surren, habe ich diesen HP ZR30w bestellt. Der Monitor macht einen wertigen, robusten Eindruck und hat ein gutes Bild. Er ist schnell montiert (Standfuss einrasten), höhenverstellbar und drehbar.
