Summary: I am impressed with the presentation quality of this monitor, apparently the IPS technology accommodates where the screen is not LED therefore still giving a beautiful vivid level of images for whatever your projects are. It is built impressively sturdy as it smoothly rotates horizontally, vertically and telescopically to accommodate your needs. HP did a great job on the design of the ZR 24W. I'm enjoying the wideviewing as well.
Summary: Excellent monitor. Excellent visual image. Excellent price! Offers a wide angle of horizontal swivel. The height is adjustable, something missing with a lot of models. Has a light-weight but sufficiently sturdy base. Already had one, and they look great side-by-side. Highly recommend this monitor.
Solid performer, trouble free for the past two years

Summary: I've owned this monitor for 2 - 3 years and it has not once given me anything but pleasure to look at. The image is clear, sharp, remains so at all angles I've viewed it from and adds the convenience of two USB 2.0 ports on the left side. The stand performs well and is very steady, adjustments are smooth and reasonable. The swivel feature works, though I don't use it at all.
Summary: People have reviewed this screen up and down so I'll keep mine short. In short: I agree with all the positive reviews. I've now had this screen for over two years and am still extremely happy with it. It's sharper than most screens, brighter, colors are more accurate, and the design is elegant. It's a little thick in depth, but I don't really care about that because even if it were thin, the stand would take up that space anyways.
Summary: There are not a lot of 1920 x 1200 resolution monitors out there. We purchased this unit as a replacement for a Samsung with similar specifications. I'm not a monitor pro so I can't tell you all the details one frequently sees in reviews of this nature, pixelation, saturation, moire, etc. Sorry about that. I can say that its operated well with good color rendering and fine video and picture performance for a year or more now. Would not hesitate to purchase another.
Summary: This is just my opinion. Bought this on Sept. 2011. Never had any problems. No lag, no ghosting, no heat issues. Looks incredible and sharp. I am a gamer using a Digital Storm computer and this monitor is great. Torchlight II looks so good! Would I buy another HP monitor? Yes.
Summary: I've had this monitor for two years. The screen has a good viewing angle, there is no burn in of text, and I've never had problems with it overheating or making whining noises. This contrasts heavily with the 24" Dell Ultrasharp which I paid more for at the time but is similarly priced now. It had to be replaced due to power supply issues and while it does have the same good viewing angle it exhibits enough burn in.
