Summary: This is worth the price and i would buy it again. However, it's not the best out there. It's a good price for the color depth you get but when the screen is black i can see some of the LED light leaking in unevenly from the side.
Acceptable general-use monitor, but bad color and a little blurry
8 February 2013
Summary: I just purchased a ZR2440 display. I'm a little disappointed, it's a fine general use monitor but it is a little blurry and color banding is an issue. I bought it hoping it would be comparable to the HP ZR24w but it's not nearly as good.
Summary: I concur with all the positive reviews - ignore the comments about fuzzy text - on the contrary, it is crystal clear. You do need to spend some time adjusting and calibrating it - fortunately the software that comes included is excellent - just follow the instructions.
Summary: There's already a good technical review up for this monitor, and I won't repeat everything there - it's dead on. One thing only to add: I went over my screen with a magnifying glass while a slowly animated test image cycled, looking for dead or bright pixels.
Summary: As you'd expect from an IPS panel, these monitors are GORGEOUS. Crisp and clean text which is very refreshing, HDMI, DVI-D, Displayport inputs. It can also support pass-through audio via HDMI, but doesn't have any audio output itself, which is something I misunderstood.
Summary: I bought this monitor just before Christmas and I have been really impressed so far. It's huge. Takes up the whole desk, in a good way. The resolution is fantastic. For computing, 1920x1200 beats HDTV (1920x1080) by a big margin. You get 10% more pixels!
Summary: I am an HP employee and when I requested a new laptop, the administrative assistant that placed the order, also ordered me this monitor to go with my docking station. Though I am an HP employee, I personally use a 27" iMac, and a 17" Macbook Pro.
