Summary: the good: shipping was only 2 days without AZ prime, Unpacking, setup very easy. Plugin cable dvi to mac mini display port (I had that one, not in the box). Setup on mac pro 2008 works fine. Rotation setup works also. the bad: none so far happy customer. I would recommend this monitor.
Summary: Here is my initial review of the HP ZR2440W after three days of use. I'll update this later if anything changes. The unit is simple to set up. The monitor panel snaps securely into the mounting flange on the stand. The stand itself is solid and not at all wobbly. Raising it from the lowest position requires pressing an unlocking button on the back.
Summary: What else can be said, this is simply an excellent choice for a monitor, regardless of the purpose. If you have been on the fence about an upgrade, or have gone your whole life using $200 or less standard TN LCD panels, this is going to be a very good investment. Colors are very true and if you aren't used to an In Plane Switching display can look almost unduly vibrant.
Summary: I was shopping for an IPS 16:10 ratio monitor for business use - word processing. I found only four 24-inch 16:10 monitors available from different manufacturers. This monitor has been available for several years and has consistently had a high consumer rating. It replaced a Samsung IPS 16:10 monitor which burned out in less than two years. The available Dell monitor had complaints about the non-glare screen coating.
Summary: Great deal but there is a reddish tint that I cannot get rid of even with a colorimeter. I also have an HP ZR24w with a green tint I have never been able to get rid of as well. Bad color is a problem, no matter how uniform it is across the screen. I see no need to comment further as without proper color this thing may as well be a cheap Viewsonic.
Summary: I replaced two mismatched Dells used with a graphics station. Not to say the Dells were not good in their day, but they were 4 years old. Like everyone else in the world I can't afford or justify spending "real" money on what's called a "professional" monitor. The two I received are pretty - No leaks - color match is great - no dead pixels - and easy to setup. Basically it was plug and play just had to pull down the brightness and gamma.
Summary: Very nice monitor. The screen was crisp and clear with very good contrasts. Colors were very natural and not overly washed when comparing it to my older Gateway 24 inch screen. Price was about right too. Was rated high on PC Computer magazines web site. You won't be disappointed with this screen.
