Summary: I've owned this for over a year and calibrate my monitors with Gretagmacbeth eye-one monitor calibration. The monitor looks even in terms of color and viewing angles but it seems to have dimmed over time. With contrast and brightness at 100% it just isn't bright enough when viewing at a distance (I'm about 2.5 feet away). If you work with a lot of small text, brightness and contrast make for easier reading.
Summary: I was looking for 22" monitor for home as I have same size in office. After lot of research finally decided to buy this little beast. It's just amazing.. the color, sharpness, smoothness.. everything just perfect! woo hoo :) Good product!
Summary: I got this monitor to replace a NEC monitor which finally called it quits. I'm very pleased with this monitor. The performance and picture have been outstanding, and I love the fact that it swivels. In fact, by raising it up I've gained some room on my desk as the space below it is available for external hard drives, etc. The one thing that I wish this monitor did have is an HDMI connector, but that's not a deal breaker for me.
Summary: Gorgeous monitor for the money. Key for me, it sits just 2.5 inches above the desk. My husband's Viewsonic VP2365-LED 23-Inch Wide e-IPS LED Monitor (Black) sits 5 inches and UP. Too high for my desk. Pity it comes with 3 cables I don't want -- VGA, DVI, DisplayPort -- and not the one I do (HDMI).
Summary: Am writing this review using this monitor. Very good value at the time of purchase. Ordered two and needs changed. Amazon courteously accepted one back with a prompt refund credit. Another quality Amazon purchasing experience.
Summary: I ordered this monitor direct from HP a year ago for $289.00 to replace a nice NEC MultiSync TN monitor which was to replace my beloved Sony Trinitron. I am a photographer who struggled for a year with the NEC; it was highly reflective due to it's glossy screen and way too bright. The color shift due to the narrow viewing angles I found unacceptable and it would not accept a color calibrator.
