Summary: Got this monitor about a year 1/2 ago and compared to others out there right now that I am still satisfied. If you can still purchase one, I highly recommend. I use this mainly for computer use and occasional movies and games.
Summary: Amazing picture quality. The price is hard to beat for this size screen. It has lots of random features like the bottom "task light". All around wonderful product. It works very well for high grade gaming and video apps.
Summary: I've had this for over 5 months. What I was looking for: Large real-estate for doing graphic editing and webdesign Fast response time and vivid images for gaming (WoW) After researching, I was torn between this model, and the Dell 24" Ultrasharp.
Summary: The HP W2558HC performs well. The base provides excellent maneuverability for any viewing angle while maintaining stability for the monitor, and providing a storage area for the keyboard when not in use. The design and functionality of the stand was one of the reasons for buying this unit.
Summary: I have really enjoyed this monitor. I espcially like all the little things HP has inluded when I got it: All cableling necessary, good instructions, remote, etc. I really like the under screen work light. Nice touch. A bit expensive but worth it
Summary: The work I do requires a lot of screen to support multiple open windows containing lots of small numbers. I frequently shift my focus from one area of the screen to another. Text sharpness and uniformity of background brightness and color across the screen are very important to me.
Summary: I have had this monitor for about two months now. I cannot speak for the stand, as immediately upon receiving it, I attached it to a home made pole I have located near my couch and connected it to my netbook via HDMI.
Summary: Style, power, sex 1080p, dual HDMI inputs allow me to use this monitor for hardcore pc gaming, and also hook up my PS3. The 3ms response time is uber fast, and w/ a native 1920x1200 resolution, my actual "windows" work productivity is.. smoother?
Summary: This is a very nice monitor. The monitor has lots of extra features and of course is huge. I love the keyboard light and the ability to use the card reader without the PC even being on. I do not see all of the color issues mentioned in the other reviews.
Summary: Pros : Durable, High Quality Cons : Expensive I compared monitors IN PERSON for a month straight before I decided on this. If Samsung had a 26" glossy monitor, maybe I would've bought it. Samsung has a much better warranty (3 years I believe vs. HP's 1 year).
