Summary: This monitor was Great for the first year and 1/2, then it went bonkers. The first thing that went wrong is that a volume control box began popping up in the middle of the screen. Sometimes it stays there for hours. Sometimes it goes away in a few seconds or minutes.
Summary: Mine died one year and 18 days after I bought it. Since HP only warranties their monitors for one year I'm out of luck unless I want to pay HP $374.99 to fix it. No thank you!
I bought the 25 inch Samsung to replace it and so far so good.
Summary: UPS never delivered my screen, and were a complete nightmare to deal with on the phone each time I called asking for help (4 times). Amazon refunded everything without even being asked, but I don't really know why they now are asking me to review the product since I never received it in the first...
Summary: I require this size monitor for image editing, and "upgraded" from a 20" Dell. I needed one post haste, and this was the only thing available. There is at least 30 % brightness difference between the two halves of the screen. This is especially noticeable when the monitor is vertically oriented.
Summary: i bought this product from amazon on 01/25/2008, and it stopped working today, on 04/20/2009. power just turned off, and will not turn back on. tried different cables, it must be an internal power supply problem. 1 yr warranty expired, so i'm left with a huge monitor that doesn't work.
Summary: Purchased this product in 2008. The screen now has a blue line down the middle of the screen. Off the the junk yard! HP is not the company now known for quality. Save your money --- stay away from HP.............

Summary: Seller said item was "Like new, literally just taken out of box and received as a gift". But shipped HP Monitor with no power cord, no video or audio cables, and no CD software and did not supply these items when they were requested. Only answered my first e-mail and no subsequent emails.
Summary: Well I purchased this monitor on September 5, 2008, and enjoyed it very much. This morning (March 26, 2011) I went to turn it on and it is dead. Won't turn on, tried everything. Very disappointed.
