Summary: Screen is a bit easy to scratch......REALLY EASY TO SCRATCH! My stupid friend put a scratch on it trying to unfold the stand that comes with it (whoever designed the stand for this thing needs to seriously rethink having children if they don't understand fragile). Would cautiously buy again.
Summary: A pretty cheap monitor that works pretty well. However, because of the unusual resolution for its size, if you want to get an identical second monitor (as I did), you might have to get the same one.
Summary: I own three of these monitors. That tells you just how much I like this product. The monitors are very bright, the colors are very vivid. They were very easy to assemble (basically this is attaching the base). All three of mine came with both DVI, VGA & sound cables. The built in speakers are clear, but not very loud even at full volume. I do wish that you could adjust the height of the monitor, not just the viewing angle. Other reviews have mentioned the base.
Summary: I purchased this HP monitor a few months ago. I was originally looking at the LG or Samsung. This model had the glossy screen and was cheaper. I always check out the reviews on Amazon, even though I didn't buy it from them. I did get a DVI cable with this, however I am not using it right now and the picture is still way beyond my old CRT or the LCD I have at work.
Summary: HP"s 20" flat screen delivers outstanding performance. The images are clear and the colors true. However, the aspect ratio (the screen is wider than it is high) takes some getting use to. On balance, I'm very pleased with the product and Amazon's service.
Summary: I bought two of these units several months ago for my video editing suite. My computer's graphics card was a little out dated so I needed an upgrade to have both of them hooked up. Now that they are up and working I'm very happy. Beats my old CRT monitors. The price and performance for the W2007 is unbeatable and unbelievable.
Summary: I bought two of these 20" HP Monitors for my video editing suite. They are used in the "span" mode to double my desktop space. These are really nice monitors and have a lot of "punch" (i.e. high contrast), but seem to avoid the "eye fatigue" factor that can result from boosting contrast. If I were to buy again, I'd be tempted to upgrade a notch to the 2207 because that monitor has more positioning flexibility and usb outputs.
Summary: The resolution is fantastic. At first, I didn't like the design when I saw it in the store (I thought it was kinda 80s looking). But I now see it as sleek. I was afraid the size was too big but I'm happy with the ability to see across my spreadsheets and it doesn't feel "in my face" big. My one complaint is regarding the built-in speakers. They are not loud enough - I have to keep it at the highest setting and I often can't hear - it's very faint sound.
Summary: I received this display as part of a bundle with an HP desktop. The desktop is fine but I'd say the display is the best part of the package. It's very bright and the colors are quite nice. As is the fashion these days the screen has a glossy coating. Some people don't care for this as it does pick up more reflections. This screen is no exception but I have not found it to be a problem. I have used the display under Windows Vista, Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux.
