Summary: Screen is a bit easy to scratch......REALLY EASY TO SCRATCH! My stupid friend put a scratch on it trying to unfold the stand that comes with it (whoever designed the stand for this thing needs to seriously rethink having children if they don't understand fragile). Would cautiously buy again.
Bought openbox at CircuitC for $160 - Still goin strong

Summary: All around good crisp clear monitor that has outlasted and exceeded my expectations. It will probably die right after I right this review and then my next few monitors will probably have dead pixels or something to make up for this HP being so perfect and lasting for so long.
Pros: Good Picture. Stable big platform base. Works for everything I use it for. Gaming, CAD, Office, Web etc.. normal stuff.
Cons: Should have got 2., Fairly thick surround. I don't like the glowing power button. Good news, you can turn it off in the settings so obviously I am not the only one.
Summary: A pretty cheap monitor that works pretty well. However, because of the unusual resolution for its size, if you want to get an identical second monitor (as I did), you might have to get the same one.
Summary: Please do not buy this monitor, if you want to use this monitor for more than one year because it will die after one year and the factory warranty lasts only a year. There are many monitors that come with 3 year warranty in the market, you are better off buying one of those monitors. My monitor doesn't get any power so I have to buy a new one as it is cheaper to buy one than fixing the existing one.
Summary: After all the positive reviews, I decided I couldn't go wrong with this monitor. Unfortunately I never got past trying to move the neck on the monitor so that I could slide it into the stand. It wouldn't move! The instructions were very clear but it was stuck solid. I tried forcing it until I felt it could break off. I looked for a button, or a switch - something to allow the neck to swing up. Nada!
