Summary: Pros: good picture, glossy, affordable Cons: flimsy and limited usefullness of stand, 1 year warranty, ymmv quality, no DVI cable Summary: I had it for a week. The glossy screen and frame are nice. The picture clear and color are accurate and vivid. Backlight bleeding or leaking is minimal and barely noticeable with black background. Good value for the money What I really don't like is the stand design.
HP consumer line monitor provides moderate quality.

Summary: First and foremost, if you can get this monitor cheap, say for $150 or less, then don't hesitate to buy it. Any price higher, you might consider options. Connectivity and the built in speakers were not a choice for me when I purchase this monitor. I needed an auxiliary monitor when editing photos so it was not to be a main monitor. However, out of the box, the monitor NEEDS calibration. Colors are off, which is to be expected from a consumer grade monitor.
