Summary: Short and sweet: The display is fine. I have mine running at the native resolution of 1440x900. Things come through crisp and clean. The problem? The damn thing keeps auto-adjusting at the -worst- possible times. In the last 10 minutes, I've counted it doing this 12 times. It gets old, really fast.
Summary: I like the HP w1907 monitor's picture, but a real drawback are the built-in speakers which are in back, facing face away from the screen. I have volume turned up 100% and still have trouble hearing even with no background noise in the room. This is a serious problem and HP should correct it.
Summary: Bought separately this HP monitor and HP computer (Vista). Digital cable. Color fringing (colored halos around letters) with native resolution. Could be due to the fact that the monitor uses MS driver, not HP driver. Was unable to update to HP driver from Device Manager (access denied).
Summary: I figured I should add my experience about this monitor because most of the reviews are positive and I did have a negative experience with it. I have used many HP products in the past and am currently using two HP computers. It is usually my preferred brand of choice.
Summary: Once I connected the W1907 I could see that all of my photos were distorted no matter what resolution I selected. After much tinkering, I think the problem was with the VIA/S3G Unichrome IGP integrated graphic card I had for some reason.
Summary: Es un monitor bastante malo ya que no concuerda su gran precio con la resolucion y calidad para imagenes, su acabado y presentacion es excelente pero no termina de funcionar tan bien como con otros monitores de menor precio.
