Summary: The Hewlett Packard Pavillion 19 inch LCD is a very solid monitor. If your looking to upgrade from a standard monitor you will be happy with it as a purchase. Right now it is an add on monitor to my lap-top. If you have ever hooked up an additional monitor to a lap-top you may be aware that the signal is somewhat divided between the two screens.
Summary: The monitor is probably an excellent product, but I happened to get one with a glitch. It simply had trouble from the moment I plugged it in; however, the service from the company was excellent. They responded immediately, offering me a full refund, and proceeding without any issues. I can't say enough. I would buy another HP W19 from them.
Summary: My dad has one of these. I used it when I went on vacation to visit him. The picture is not too good. Brightness and colors shift depending upon viewing angle. Bring back the picture tube (CRT). Quality picture tube monitors look better than LCDs.
Summary: Exceptionally clear display. Makes working with graphic intense programs a pleasure. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone who works with graphics, plays games or watches movies on their computer.
Summary: I was looking for a moderate sized and priced widescreen and there were several choices available. I checked out several monitors - Samsung, Viewsonic, Acer among others - at various stores. The BrightView screen of the HP w19b, its 5 ms response time and overall compact look were significant factors that won me over, plus the immediate availability by mail order! The brightness, colors and crispness of images are all very good.
