Summary: The Hewlett Packard Pavillion 19 inch LCD is a very solid monitor. If your looking to upgrade from a standard monitor you will be happy with it as a purchase. Right now it is an add on monitor to my lap-top. If you have ever hooked up an additional monitor to a lap-top you may be aware that the signal is somewhat divided between the two screens.
Summary: I have 2 of this HP model w19e, and plan to purchase a third soon. The first one I purchased 2 years ago and like it so well I decided to get a second. I use both on my ebay work computer. Compared to other Monitors I have owned, I find this model to have excellent color & very clear picture.
Summary: I was searching for an LCD monitor without really a particular model in mind. I came across the HP and it was the right price (not the cheapest, not the most expensive). It's easy to set up and easy to use. It has energy saving technology so I know I'm not killing the environment. Compared to cheaper brands I say it is well worth the money. Definately a great monitor for someone looking for a wide flat screen.
Summary: Good display but poorly designed; the stand gets in the way for the vga and dvi inputs which can be annoying. It's not too bad for the vga but for the dvi you need to remove the stand if you want to put a cable in and then the stand doesn't go back on properly.
Summary: This monitor is perfect for anyone who is in desperate needs for a monitor. It displays in a 1440x900 Resolution which is better than most 15.6 inch laptops. It has an auto configuration button which automatically fixes the display if something is wrong (For example the taskbar is cut off on the screen) The auto configuration button is very useful. You can adjust the brightness and colour effects of the screen for how you want your computer to be displayed.
