Summary: Reasonably priced, great deal for a refurb compared to $200+ brand new. Ideal as a multi-monitor laptop setup. Bought a pair of monitors and used a set of USB/DVI adapters. All running at 1440x900, native res(monitors) & non-native res(laptop). Overall decent picture quality, bright screen, and vivid color (caveat: may be difficult to calibrate colors for graphic software - contrast, gamma, and color temp are hard to judge).
Summary: I love the sleek, space-saving design of it. It really helps keep my desk clutter-free. The built-speakers are also a good function as well as it's tilt and swivel feature. The 17 inch display, is not too large or too small; perfect for getting work done effectively. Mostly, I like the fact that it's an HP product, compatible with my tower. Only trust HP with my computer preferences.
Summary: I really like this monitor. I have had it over a year with no problems. There are only two little issues I had, neither with the quality of the monitor - first, when it was shipped, I somehow thought it would be in a plain box, but it was shipped in its original box, meaning there was a obvious monitor box sitting on my front porch for everyone to see. I am glad it didn't get swiped!
Pros: Great Price Great DVi to DVI when use with a ATI Video card with Avio it so great to wacth movies set up take time cause of the high graphics but once it set it great.. HDTV on Monitors i have plands to get one more soon
Cons: it did not come with DVi cables only VGA the HP software that come with it is great but the up grade soft ware 1.36 some how make thing crash
Summary: This monitor took a bit of figuring to get the setting right, but once I did I couldn't be more delighted. I personally did not have any trouble with glare or reflections. I would suggest that if this is a problem, you might consider turning off lamp behind you that are facing the screen. I bought this monitor most of all for its widescreen configuration. I have a hard time with the boxy types which make reading the texts or looking at images somewhat claustraphobic.
Summary: The monitor itself is great! I had to buy a new computer and my old LCD screen was aweful so I got this one. It's very clear, and I've never had any problems with it. The speakers are not very good. I'd suggest saving up and buy the 30watt system. I love the keyboard tray. When I grade papers I push the keyboard up in the tray so that it's out of the way and I can spread out. If I ever buy another monitor it will be this kind, but maybe a little bigger.
