Summary: This is a good monitor, I've had it for 3 years. Sturdy, hard plastic. The display is alright - the colors are somewhat muted compared to a glossy monitor, but it makes up for not having any reflections. I don't like looking at myself when I haven't showered and I'm on a YouTube binge...
Summary: The monitor has a stylish design and seems sturdy enough. The stand is non-adjustable by height though (at least I wasn't able to find a way to adjust it) and the buttons are somewhat hard to reach, especially in low-light situations - they are underneath the front panel.
Summary: This monitor arrived slightly ahead of time and in good condition. Although really compact and tight fitting, the packaging is quite protective. I recommend this product to anyone needing a flat panel monitor for either fixed or travel based use as it is relatively easily repackaged for travel.
Summary: I purchased this monitor in Jan and with in three months had to have a replacement sent to me. The screen went completely black. Have had the replacement about a month and the color is all distorted on it. This is a crappy monitor and the company itself is not good to deal with.
Summary: HP S2331a 23-inch Diagonal LCD Monitor - Black: I needed a new monitor as my old one decided to quit working. I went out to the electronics stores to price a new monitor and I came across the HP S2331a.
Summary: B'est B'uy in early Feb. 2011 had the 2331 on sale for about $150, and I picked one up. Turns out it is the S2331a, with the "A" being a variation that includes an audio input and a set of integrated speakers located in the frame of the monitor.
Summary: Looking around at other monitors prices and having always trusted HP products I bought this monitor after my Westinghouse 19" LCD died after only 2 years. This monitor is big bright and turns on quickly, everything a growing boy needs.
