Summary: This HP monitor is a great value. It has great native resolution at 1600 x 900 and is clear with both VGA and DVI-D options for connecting to computer. Makes it easy to use as either primary or secondary monitor. Brightness, color palette and contrast are great out of the box and Windows 7 x64 recognized and set up this monitor without a hitch. The only annoyance is the OSD of display status when computer boots.
Summary: Bought this monitor to replace my current monitor that was breaking down. The picture is excellent and the screen is just a little bit bigger than our old one. The price was exactly what I hoped to spend.
It is sharper than the old monitor I had and I hope it lasts much longer.

Summary: My old monitor was only a couple of years old but started to have problems with coming on. I ordered this one that was on sale and the quality was much better than the old one and much brighter. I have had several other monitors but this is only the second thin design one I have had. I lke them much better and will only have this type from now on. I am 73 so I don't expect to have all that many but my daughter is only 50 and she really likes them much better also.
Summary: This monitor now sits side-by-side with my first 2031 working in dual mode. AB comparison of various wallpaper screens shows very slight differences when both monitors are configured to factory spec. This not an issue in regular use. The real value for me is the ability to run a program on one monitor and see its demand for resources on the other. Changes in temperature, percentage of demand on a given component, etc. now display in real time.
Best monitor I've had so far. (14 years with computers)

Summary: I bought this monitor because my old CRTs died and my LCD. Great value for this product. This one is much better than the older LCDs for response rate and picture quality. Light-weight makes it so easy to put on almost any desktop. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Thank you!
