Summary: I have two monitors at work; but I travel a lot for work as well and still needed a second monitor with my laptop. Of the available brands (Samsung being the other contender), this was actually the best design for me when it came to travel. It folds up nicely and has a protective cover that doubles as the stand. When folded it is between 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch at it's thickest. It fits into my backpack nicely which works for my carry-on item under the seat for flying.
Summary: Great product at a great price. In terms of build it is really good and I expected nothing less from HP. The only drawback is the use of the microUSB cable, so I have to lug an additional cable around. The screen is set as default on the right of your device (you can only drag to the right even if the monitor is sititng on the left) That is a bit strange and I have not been able to figure out how to change the position settings.
Summary: The monitor fits in my travel bag like a portfolio and doesn't take up much room. It opens easily and has good quality graphics and brightness. Very easy to set up the first time - and every time. Would recommend for every traveler!
Summary: I was happy with this product until only after a week and a half the area for USB plug becomes very loose and wouldn't attach without me holding it in place. I have since return the product and is hoping for a replacement or my money back.
Summary: Concept is good, and works really well but the monitor keeps blacking out. I have to reboot to get it back on. I've tried working with customer service (horrible) and they keep running me around in circles. It took me two days just to get them to realize that this is a portable monitor and not a normal monitor. It would be nice if it had a better resolution or adjustable. I have windows 7, 64 bit operating, very powerful laptop. Not sure if that's causing an issue.
