Summary: When this monitor works, it's a great monitor. But I have been getting "Power Button Lockout" randomly appearing, also at times the monitor will power itself off and back on in a repeating cycle. Googling this shows other people with the same problem. In fact while writing this review, it powered itself off and I had to unplug it for a bit to get it to power back on again. I would avoid this monitor..
Summary: I am really pleased with this monitor. I have a 25" HP monitor that is a couple of years old, and is a little heavy. So I was very pleased with the picture and the weight of the monitor. I am a musician so the dual monitors work very well with various projects I am working on. At this point I could not imagine not having a dual monitor setup. I cannot say enough about the picture quality of the monitor, I am as always very pleased with another HP product.
Summary: This monitor does not have a sharp picture at all. I find it cloudy and no matter how much I adjust the settings it is a dull picture. Reading the other comments on this site I am starting to wonder if we are talking about the same monitor.
Summary: This screen works great if your room is completely dark, but the gloss on it is extremely high. Any light behind you will reflect on the screen, and I mean any light. I was literally watching the TV behind me on the screen while viewing websites. I would not recommend this screen unless you don't mind dealing with the reflections, mine is going back.
Summary: Rightoff the bat, I'm no tech guy. I bought this monitor to hookup to an older HP, Windows XP. It won't load the software and therefore won't run at HD or optimal ability. Says "May be a problem with Monitor". Not happy...all I can say.
