Summary: I got the monitor but it was defective... what followed was a 4-week Greek tragedy of back-and-forth with HP. After about 10 hours of effort on my part, I got a working refurbished replacement; I am tempted to think they expected me to give up eventually. Do yourself a favor an pick another monitor.
Summary: I'm quite perplexed by all these glowing reviews. I bought this monitor based on all the accolades I've read here and of course the very low price point of $209. This has to be the worst monitor I've ever seen. I would highly recommend you do not purchase a monitor of this size that's only 1920x1080. You get what you pay for.
Summary: Learn from me, folks, this is not a fair critique of the qualities or lack thereof, of this monitor, but rather a cautionary tale of what happens when you are sold a product which comes with NO MANUAL and NO SPECIFIC LANGUAGE about the setup of the monitor. A CD is provided, but, gee, how are you supposed to watch the CD without a freakin' monitor?
Resolution is terrible. Type and images look pixelated

Summary: Resolution is terrible. Type and images look pixelated. Everything gets scaled up and blown up. This product is a scam. No mac software available. Completely no control of any functions. I want my money back!
Summary: I purchased this monitor for my wife to use as a second screen to work on photos and spreadsheets based on reviews and on the HP name - big mistake. It worked fine in very light use for not even 2 weeks and then the HDMI connection failed, giving a speckled screen and a resolution that was unusable. Returning it today and will look for other options.

Summary: pros: - slim - light weight - doesn't get burning hot, only warm - 27" is noticeably a lot bigger compared to 19" cons: - weak color reproduction, low color saturation - no color saturation editing option - power cable input in back of monitor gets loose causing monitor to turn off - reflective screen (liquid crystal display) - no speakers or headphone jack input - 7ms for gaming isn't as good as 5ms and below I bought this mainly as a PC & console gaming monitor but was...
Summary: This monitor does not have a sharp picture at all. I find it cloudy and no matter how much I adjust the settings it is a dull picture. Reading the other comments on this site I am starting to wonder if we are talking about the same monitor.
Summary: One month after the warranty expired the OSC began freezing up. I was unable to do a reset or anything else to prevent this from happening, to bring the monitor back to life. I have been relying on the good quality and value of HP monitors for the last 20 years, but this is it. Sorry HP, but only one year of use? I am moving to other brands.
