Most suggest stupid things like making sure the cables are properly connected

Summary: I have an HP Pavilion 23xi. The right 1/3 of the screen has gone pink. I started researching online and found that a LOT of people are having this problem, usually just after the 1 year warranty has expired.
Summary: Loved my monitor til it got pink lines on the left hand side after 2 years - just out of warranty. And reading the HP support forum there are others out there with the same problem and HP aren't listening.
Summary: Great until the discoloration began, and horizontal lines... I sent one back to hp after a hellish phone call (they had an extremely hard time understanding every single thing I said, and it's not me, I do phone support/customer service) so they send me a replacement and it does the same thing in a...
Summary: True, I bought mine from HP directly, but looks like I am not able to write an review. 5 months after the warranty is over, this monitor now has some reddish tint only on the left side and icons show grainy. When I move the icon to right side, it is just fine. I tried another cable no change.
Summary: Got "red tint" on right side of screen after 12 months (it explain why warranty given 1 year only). Seems is common problem for this model. It Is perfect monitor if you have habit replace monitor every year, otherwise avoid it.
Summary: Beware !! This monitor only last about 13 months then develops the color and screen problem it's prone to. Before buying one, research the faults. HP has no fix for it except to replace it with a Re-Furb under warranty or tell you to buy a new one. It's a poorly made monitor.
Excerpt: I've had two of these. They are great while they last but they don't last long. In less than a year the first developed a red tint on one side of the screen and lost like half the resolution on that side. HP replaced that one with another.
Summary: HP 23XI monitor has lines on left side of screen and is discolored. Working with HP customer service is a nightmare! Take my advice and buy from a different company that actually might care about it's customers
