Summary: I have owned this monitor for less than 3 years. I have two of them setup in a dual display configuration. One of the monitors fails to wake up after sleeping and I am now no longer able to use the manual controls to configure the monitor inputs. It just locks up.
Summary: In researching the issue, this appears to be a common issue for this particular monitor. I have been reasonably happy with HP products and I generally associate HP as a trusted brand that you can trust but I think this is a defective model and is not representative of HP's standards of quality.
Pros: The HP Pavilion 23xi is a great monitor with very good resolution and it offers VGA, DVI, and HDMI inputs.
Cons: Reliability is disappointing. After a year of use, the left side of the screen started flickering and developing a pink hue on 1/3 of the screen. Resolution was not significantly effected so it was usable but now, after only 2 years of use, the Pink hue has enveloped the whole screen and text is ...
Summary: I loved this monitor when I first got it. Mostly I liked the outward appearance. The color was fine, and I'm not real picky. But then a little over a year after I bought it, it just stopped working. I've had a lot of monitors over the years and never had a model break so quickly.
Great monitor with good display... while they last..!

Summary: Awesome looking monitor with clear, sharp display...but unfortunately doesn't last. I bought two of these about 18 months ago and they are both starting to get fuzzy lines on half of the screen... of course they are now out of warranty! I recommend you don't waste your money!
Summary: I just got this monitor a couple of days ago, so I can't comment yet on durability, but so far this monitor is great at an amazing price. The viewing angle is pretty solid and I was pleasantly surprised at how thin and light it is.
Good display, lacks VESA compliancy and CANNOT adjust height... unlike other monitors

Summary: The monitor is great. But, whoever designed this forgot to make this 'VESA' compliant, they remembered to make it very light weight et al, I have to buy an off-market adapter paying $25.00 extra.
Summary: Get it on sale and you won't be disappointed.
Pros: This display looks better than I thought it would by far, I bought it for a computer I built for my dad. I almost swapped it with my current monitor. The bezel is quite thin and the stand does a pretty good job of keeping the focus on the good looking screen

Summary: it's doing it's job...projecting a crisp and clear image...and i can still see clearly from different angles...like, if my children are sitting working on the computer, i can be standing on the side and still see their work, so i'm happy with that clarity...
