No discoloration, but plenty of other major problems.

Summary: Like most other reviewers, I thought this monitor was awesome, for a while. After about 2 years, I'm not seeing discoloration, but the monitor's software itself is freezing often. The buttons stop responding, and any menus on the screen permanently stay there. (It happens only when turning the monitor on or waking it up from sleep.
Summary: Works well. It was bought to work with another HP 23xi unit so two monitors could work together providing separate programs. The older one is set up using a special games card. So for this one we had to get an adapter that allowed us to connect via a USB port. .
Most suggest stupid things like making sure the cables are properly connected

Summary: I have an HP Pavilion 23xi. The right 1/3 of the screen has gone pink. I started researching online and found that a LOT of people are having this problem, usually just after the 1 year warranty has expired. On the HP website I see posts recommending some troubleshooting but none of the sample problems shown describes this problem. Most suggest stupid things like making sure the cables are properly connected. Trust me, that's NOT the problem.
Excerpt: I bought this monitor to accompany my new Mac Mini, and so far, so good. I have read in reviews [*]n that people have gotten spotty green screens after a year or two. I personally haven't seen that yet, but bear in mind that mine is only a couple weeks old. My experience thus far is that the HP is a good size, performs well, and has a very clear resolution when connected with my Mac Mini through an HDMI cable.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Never Freezes, Powerful, Quiet, Versatile
