Summary: The first thing that pleased me was how easy the monitor is to put together. Snal column into monitor, slide both onto tyne base. Done. No screw, no trying to get into small spaces like every other monitor I have assembled. Thank you HP! The color n...
Summary: Wonderful monitor! I had purchased a Samsung monitor and wasn't happy with the colors - hazy, muddy - so I returned it for this one. What a difference - really crisp colors, blacks that were really black! I like the stand also. Easy to set up.
Pros: Sharp picture, nice settings features. More than what I expected. I bought this as a second monitor, but now use it as my primary monitor. My second monitor is a 26" Veiwsonic that I paid almost $300 for. I am much more impressed with the quality of this 23" even if it has a slightly smaller screen.
Cons: Uh...I guess that would be that I didn't buy another before blowing my spare money on eating out a few times with the family.
Pros: Big beautiful, bright monitor. Looked great right out of the box. The colors are vivid. We have two of these going eight hours every day and haven't had any problems. This is a great monitor for the price
Cons: The base is a little flimsy. But, who cares? It just sits on a desk.
Summary: I bought this to replace a 1999 vintage Samsung monitor that still works perfectly but became a little small as the content of modern webpages needs resolutions that make the content hard to read on smaller screens. All I needed was a larger screen. I have everything else. This HP is a basic VGA analog monitor. No bells and whistles. In terms of scope, this fit my needs. On the plus side, the assembly is very easy.
