HP LP2275W impresses us in almost every aspect and it challenges the much acclaimed Eizo S2231W, which also has a 22 inch S-PVA panel – but is selling at a higher price. HP LP2275W does not have quite as extensive setting options and not as deep blacks but besides that the two monitors have a lot of similar picture characteristics and many common features. But this also says something about the picture quality on the LP2275W. Read more

    • Nice picture quality, Blacks and contrast, Ergonomics and functionality
    • Response time, Narrower viewing angles than LP2475W, Minor deviations in out-of-box settings

HP’s $399 LP2275w is a bit more expensive than the average all-purpose 1,680x1,050, 22-inch monitor, but it is well worth the extra money for people who spend massive amounts of time staring at a screen reading text, editing photos, or doing design work. • Astoundingly crisp text, Good color reproduction, All necessary cables included, Efficient cable-management system
    • Expensive compared with general-purpose monitors, Struggles with high end of the gray scale, Slow pixel-response time, Slight loss of dark detail when viewing the moni...
