Summary: 1920 * 1200 at this price. No dead pixels. Good overall quality. I bought it for playing at pokerstars. I love it because it s not a wide ratio and i can tile 12 tables with almost no overlap. I'm very satisfied with it.
Summary: This is an excellent 24" monitor, with more resolution than Full HD (1920 x 1200), what give you more space in to work in drawings, data tables / spreadsheets, and display more information in the web browser. The resolution and color display are very good. Also it has two USB hub in the back side for those interesting in hook up another divices.
Summary: My work is mostly text with some graphics. I type reports, research on the internet, and most of the material I have to review for reports is pdf documents that have been scanned. I work on a Mac Mini late 2009 2.26 GHz computer, and from what I could read, the 24-inch size monitor is about the largest that my Mini will run.
Summary: I bought this monitor a little over a year ago along with the optional attached speakers. I very much prefer the 1920x1200 over the less expensive 1920x1080 format. Adjustable tilt, height and portrait mode were also useful. The addition of brushed metal exterior as opposed to plastic was also appreciated. Following a little less than a year of daily use, thin lines appeared on the right side of the desplay.
Summary: I've never been a huge fan of HP/Compaq computers; I had a bad experience with a lemon once. I really only got this monitor because I wanted a 3-monitor setup, and the graphics card required one of them to have a native displayport. I must say that this monitor is amazing. The screen quality is noticeably better than the rest of the monitors in our small office (not to mention that the resolution is better than most other monitors in its price-range).
Summary: I have only been using this monitor for an hour, and it's attached to a six-year-old laptop with maximum resolution of 1024x768 and VGA mode. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, and that was it. I don't see any bad pixels, and the color looks great to me. I am picking out the components to build a new desktop, and while I have the space for a bigger monitor, I appreciate saving the bucks with this one, especially given its 16:10 aspect ratio.
A resonably priced entry level displayport 1200x1980 monitor
31 July 2011
Summary: A resonably priced entry level displayport 1200x1980 monitor. Needs a bit of fine turning when first connected. But is easily set up with the swivel stand, that allows for vertical or horizontal viewing. Recommend for all gaming, movie watching or cad based programs. In term of photo editing yes only after you spend a little time fine tuning the color and contrast.
