Summary: Good monitor for the pice. I ended up buying three of these cause they were such a bargain. All of the screen are still working two years later. A cool feature is that you can rotate these vertically (in case you have a small desk or something)
Summary: Got this monitor about Thanksgiving time via Amazon. Opened box and found power button "locked". Request exchange on 12/1. Never get any feed back from vendor. The only way I can turn off the monitor is unplug power, now. (12/28).
Summary: My work is mostly text with some graphics. I type reports, research on the internet, and most of the material I have to review for reports is pdf documents that have been scanned. I work on a Mac Mini late 2009 2.26 GHz computer, and from what I could read, the 24-inch size monitor is about the largest that my Mini will run.
Summary: I bought this monitor a little over a year ago along with the optional attached speakers. I very much prefer the 1920x1200 over the less expensive 1920x1080 format. Adjustable tilt, height and portrait mode were also useful. The addition of brushed metal exterior as opposed to plastic was also appreciated. Following a little less than a year of daily use, thin lines appeared on the right side of the desplay.
Summary: I bought this monitor as a replacement for a 6 yo fancy HP2305 monitor. Of course this monitor is cheaper, but so is the feature set. Two problems come to mind: 1. The default settings are just horrible for this monitor. It has a few defaults one can choose. but all of them are bluish. Did anybody at the company try to put up a brown spotted cow and realize their monitor is making poor cow bluish.
Summary: I have only been using this monitor for an hour, and it's attached to a six-year-old laptop with maximum resolution of 1024x768 and VGA mode. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, and that was it. I don't see any bad pixels, and the color looks great to me. I am picking out the components to build a new desktop, and while I have the space for a bigger monitor, I appreciate saving the bucks with this one, especially given its 16:10 aspect ratio.

Summary: This is slightly hard to review. I'm tempted to give 5 stars, primarily because this is one of the very few 1920x1200 monitors now available. (My laptops have that resolution, but it's virtually impossible to find on new laptops). The only real downside to this monitor for me is the relatively narrow view-angle that others have noted. And I have the subjective opinion that the color fidelity might not be pure enough for serious photographic work.
Summary: Does anyone know if this monitor can go flat to the desk in landscape orientation? One of the hp marketing pictures shows it landscape, very flat to the desk. In portrait orientation it definitely flat to the desk. The monitor companies are missing out here. A lot of people who wear bi-focals want monitors that are low to the desk.
