Summary: I would return if Newegg offered to send me one in better condition. Buyer beware on this one.
Pros: Screen is clear and bright no scratches. No dead pixels. Case was not scratched or damaged. surprisingly.
Cons: This is a refurbished model and I was aware of this however from what I have seen of 'refurbished' in the past you would get what appears to be like new. Control buttons are worn at corners. LED power light does not work. Shipping packaging was very poor. I am surprised that is was not damaged in...
Pros: The monitors are what they said they'd be "technically" and I see all the LCD screens are new and have been replaced.
Cons: Being the screens were replaced they had to take the monitors apart and they did a poor job reassembling. I bought 18 of them and 13 of them had bezels that I ahd to glue & clamp back on b/c the metal trips at the top of the frame were peeling off. One was also mashed up and had to be sent back.
Pros: Excellent display and the price was very reasonable.
Cons: This monitor was advertised as refurbished but the monitor I received was more like scratch and dent. The monitor was packaged poorly, shame on you NewEgg. The monitor was shipped in a cardboard box with packing peanuts. It was damaged by the time I received it. I will be keeping it due to the ha...
Summary: I have had a few LCD's at this point. 2 Dells, 2 Samsungs and a Veiwsonic. This is by far the nicest monitor I have had of them all. It is not perfect to the professional eye but it has no major flaws, its works great out of the box and its been full proof for over a year now.
Cons: at least one pixel was out when I got it. But I live with it
Summary: Just bought 4 and a x4 miniDP card for home config so I can WFH with the same setup as at work. Should make it nice :)
Pros: Have a quad array of these at work for coding/merge management, awesome setup, all vertical. All the comments about color I suspect have not calibrated properly. Viewing angle is decent (not stellar, but you get what you pay for).
Cons: Viewing angle (ok, not great), vertical adjust, no included DP cables.
Summary: Some people may worry about the screen being "dark" because of the lower contrast ratio. You have nothing to worry about the back-light is very bright and vibrant easily rivaling that of $800 lower resolution LED monitors.
Pros: - A 24" inch 1920x1200
Cons: - I don't have the space and money to run Eyefinity
Summary: I purchased three of these and none had any dead or stuck pixels. I was a little hesitant to purchase this monitor because it was a little more pricey when compared to other TN panels, but I wanted the 1920x1200 resolution and didn't want to pay for an IPS.
Pros: I just upgraded to this monitor from an Asus VH236H. The Asus is supposed to be one of the fastest monitors out there yet this keeps up equally as fast when running them side by side playing BF3 in 1920x1080 (yes, the HP is 1920x1200).
Cons: If I must list a con, it would be be the viewing angle. With that said, I would give the viewing angle an 8.5 out of 10 when compared to all monitor technologies and a 10 out of 10 for a TN panel.
