Summary: If you're using this as an occasional use, back-room monitor that no one will see it is probably suitable for that purpose. Otherwise the quality of the "refurbishment" is so poor that it is unsuitable for any situation where it will be visible.
Pros: Comes on when plugged in, picture quality is ok, tilt-swivel- height adjusting stand is awesome
Cons: Power button doesn't work - can't turn on/off, but it does come on when plugged in. Filthy! Like "used on an outdoor construction site" filthy! Cons: The first refurbished monitor I received had a broken power button. The RMA process was straightforward, although the queue was almost an hour.
