Bought 3 and came back for more

Gregory W., Newegg
1 March 2013
  • Summary: After taking a chance and buying three for a quick office expansion on a tight budget, I came back to and 14 more! Not a single problem with any of them. Note that these are not widescreen - look elsewhere for that format
  • Pros: Great business monitors for every day use. Not HD, but still a good, clear, bright display. Employees love how they adjust angle and height. Only 2 ever need to rotate the monitor, but it come in really handy. They get 5 eggs due to the number of features for the cost and the quality even though ...
  • Cons: 2 or 3 needed a good screen cleaning - no big deal

Just What I Needed

Salem, Amazon
3 January 2013
  • Summary: When the monitor went out on the old PC I use mostly for documents, I dreaded either replacing the entire computer or investing in a new monitor, especially when I don't like using a widescreen monitor for viewing long documents like manuscripts.

Great Monitor

Norman F. Birnberg, Amazon
15 December 2012
  • Summary: The HP L1950 LCD Monitor is a couple of years old. Not exactly the latest and greatest. Still a great monitor! I picked up mine for a pretty good price - less than what I paid for my old HP CRT monitor which just dimmed and finally gave up the ghost.

  • Summary: Arrived quicker than expected and is just what I wanted. Thanks so much! I want to add it has great resolution, looks brand new, and fits well with my other screens. I like the ability to have it rotate and raise up. I am very happy with this item!

Pretty Dim

Jay S., Newegg
17 August 2012
  • Summary: Scratched front bezel. Be careful when you open the box, the spring loaded stand is under tension and jumps out.
  • Pros: Works OK, great stand provides full motion including lift, and has a tray for small items like tape, stapler, etc.
  • Cons: Dim display. Must be nearing the end of its life, since the specs say it is 300 cd/m2. Brightness is just barely acceptable, and very noticably dim when viewed next to a newer monitor.
