A refurbished luxury monitor from the distant past to use as a 2nd display
6 June 2014
Summary: I am pretty much a cheapskate. I wanted to add a reasonably good LCD second display to a modern Haswell laptop with a touch screen and Windows 8.1. I didn't want to spend all that much, so I looked for a refurbished VGA monitor and got an inexpensive adapter so I could plug it into the HDMI port. Space is tight on my desktop, so I wanted a monitor I could raise and lower by a big amount and tilt forward and back.
Summary: The monitor works beautifully and what I didn't expect is the adjustable, swivel stand; raise it, tilt it from side to side...adjust it to the position that best suits your viewing needs. I'll be sure to keep this business in mind for my next computer needs.
Summary: I don't know how the seller can call this monitor "Used-Very Good." They obviously haven't read the product condition definitions. This monitor arrived wrapped in packing tape (which when removed leaved a significant amount of film all over the product. The screen is completely scratched as well as the surrounding plastic. The monitor itself looks quite old.
Summary: I needed a monitor for my Mom's computer. Space and cost was the big factors here. I loved that this item qualified for Prime shipping and also was a great price. Shipping was great and it came in perfect like new condition. My own drawback was you have to screw in 4 screws to the base for the monitor. While this was not a hardship at all I wish it was outlined so I could of been prepared better.
