Summary: It has a slim profile, big sound (so no extra wires or wifi-speakers), vivid responsiveness, exquisite definition, and, the Price is Right. This is the third of these that I have purchased, and the first two were "acquired by Higher management" after just a few weeks of walking by my desk and messing with the monitor, etc....you can buy with confidence. One box, all packed securely, HDMI cable included, instant delivery, terrific price/value ratio.
Summary: I purchased this monitor to replace an older HP 25 inch LED monitor as an upgrade. So far I find the unit very pleasing to look at - both in terms of the display quality and the materials used in workmanship. I especially like the aluminum base that matches most current HP desktop towers in terms of materials / design. The monitor is very bright, clear, and has a good built in speaker that features beats audio.
Summary: The image is very clear and crisp attached to display port or hdmi port. As far as sound it sounds like your in a symphony all you need to do to turn up sound is to touch bottom right side of monitor and turn on beats and then touch the monitor again and touch decrease button one time and then touch increase button to your liking.
Summary: Nice Monitor.... Its all the greatness the description states. The only thing I have issues with is the sound. Great sound but there is no option to turn it up. It sports the Beats audio but you can't really enjoy it because you can't turn it up. Otherwise its a great monitor and I would recommend.
Summary: Tried to hook this up, via Thunderbolt to HDMI, to my MacBook Pro (circa 2012), and the picture was horrible. Fonts were fairly unreadable - at least I would not have wanted to read on this monitor for any length of time (say, over 2 minutes). Overall picture was fuzzy and certainly not HD. This appears to be a Mac to monitor problem. When I called HP, they were very helpful, but in the end it came down to that there are no drivers for the Mac, so they could not help.
Summary: I have always loved HP monitors and the Envy 27" is no exception. I wanted a monitor that has a glassy surface because my desktop is in a dark room and I have no problems with glare on the screen. I find that the image just looks superior as opposed to the duller, glare resistant screens. I have never been disappointed by an HP monitor and that gave me enough confidence to order this over the Internet sight-unseen.
